Guess the Song Lyrics

Posted at

This game has probably been made in the past. It explains itsself though. The only thing is that if you use Google or some other search engine, you must say so. It tests people's knowledge of music. If you use a search engine also it would be cool for you to draw some image that just makes you a fail just to make it funny. That's not neccessarry but if you want to…Also Hints are appreciated but not needed.

Here's my song's lyrics: (Hint: this is the chorus to the song)
"It isn't me.
We have some seed.
Let me clip.
Your dirty wings.
Let me take ride.
Don't hurt yourself.
I want some help.
To help myself.
I've got some rope.
You have been told.
I promise you.
I have been true.
Let me take a ride.
Don't hurt yourself.
I want some help.
To help myself."

Yeah, didn't get it. But this looks like a promising game so I guess I'm kind of pumping the thread up.

Saint Google says it's called Polly.

Mine will be kind of hard and kind of obscure, as a retaliation.

Dies iræ, dies illa,
Solvet sæclum in favilla,
Teste David cum Sibylla !

Quantus tremor est futurus,
quando judex est venturus,
cuncta stricte discussurus !

Tuba mirum spargens sonum
per sepulcra regionum,
coget omnes ante thronum.

Mors stupebit et Natura,
cum resurget creatura,
judicanti responsura.

Liber scriptus proferetur,
in quo totum continetur,
unde Mundus judicetur.

Judex ergo cum sedebit,
quidquid latet apparebit,
nil inultum remanebit.

Quid sum miser tunc dicturus ?
Quem patronum rogaturus,
cum vix justus sit securus ?

Rex tremendæ majestatis,
qui salvandos salvas gratis,
salva me, fons pietatis.

Recordare, Jesu pie,
quod sum causa tuæ viæ ;
ne me perdas illa die.

Quærens me, sedisti lassus,
redemisti crucem passus,
tantus labor non sit cassus.

Juste Judex ultionis,
donum fac remissionis
ante diem rationis.

Ingemisco, tamquam reus,
culpa rubet vultus meus,
supplicanti parce Deus.

Qui Mariam absolvisti,
et latronem exaudisti,
mihi quoque spem dedisti.

Preces meæ non sunt dignæ,
sed tu bonus fac benigne,
ne perenni cremer igne.

Inter oves locum præsta,
et ab hædis me sequestra,
statuens in parte dextra.

Confutatis maledictis,
flammis acribus addictis,
voca me cum benedictis.

Oro supplex et acclinis,
cor contritum quasi cinis,
gere curam mei finis.

Lacrimosa dies illa,
qua resurget ex favilla
judicandus homo reus.
Huic ergo parce, Deus.

Pie Jesu Domine,
dona eis requiem. Amen.

"Dies Irae (Day of Wrath) is a famous thirteenth century Latin hymn thought to be written by Thomas of Celano" according to Wikipedia. That was one that no one would get…
Ignore the fail picture idea.

"City's Breakin down on a camel's back
they just have to go, cause they don't know wack"

Yes, but I went and looked up the entire lyrics. If you had heard it, you'd have had to recognize at least a line or two.

At any rate, your song is called "Have you seen me?". You shouldn't post lines including the name of the song, man! Dunno the artist though.

Mine is extremely easy now:
And though you fight
To stay alive
Your body starts to SHIVER!

I had to go on Google but after I did I felt stupid…

Thriller - Michael Jackson

This part of the song is sang extremely fast:

Would you look at all that stuff …
They've got allen wrenches, gerbil feeders, toilet seats, electric heaters
Trash compactors, juice extractors, shower rods and water heaters
Walkie-talkies, copper wires, safety goggles, radial tires
BB pellets, rubber mallets, fans and dehumidifiers
Picture hangers, paper cutters, waffle irons, window shutters
Paint removers, window louvers, masking tape and plastic gutters
Kitchen faucets, folding tables, weather stripping, jumper cables
Hooks and tackle, grout and spackle, power foggers, spoons and ladles
Pesticides for fumigation, high-performance lubrication
Metal roofing, water proofing, multi-purpose insulation
Air compressors, brass connectors, wrecking chisels, smoke detectors
Tire gauges, hamster cages, thermostats and bug deflectors
Trailer hitch demagnetizers, automatic circumcisers
Tennis rackets, angle brackets, Duracells and Energizers
Soffit panels, circuit brakers, vacuum cleaners, coffee makers
Calculators, generators, matching salt and pepper shakers

That's called Higher. As usual, I know not the artist name. Not that it matters, I guess.

Let's see, how about…
Every now and then I know you'll always be the only one who wanted me the way that I am…
