LOL, funny. I never thought of that. And yet, it's true.

You ever thought of the fact that Ariel was 16 when she got married & had her kid? Call me an old fogey, but did the folks at Disney think that through? Also, did they realize that in the sequel, the kid she had was like nine years old, but Ariel stayed sixteen? ….Do mermaids never age or something?!?

Oh, and I think Disney is the evil Empire, but I've always liked "Emperor's New Groove" for comedy and "Sleeping Beauty" for style/design.

there are quite a few disney movies i love, but they're not your "typical" disney movies of course. one thing i don't get is why they take so much credit for the nightmare before christmas?

Because it's Disney, the evil Empire. They take credit for capturing Saddam Hussein.

What they did not capture him?!?!?!?!?

And not to stick up for the "Evil Empire", but they did remake the little mermaid into a stroy that kids can watch… In the original Anderson stroy, she dies….

but this is now off the subject…. sorry :(

Ah, but that's why the original story was good. It was tragic. Not all love stories are happy endings. …Hell, take 'Hunchback of Notre Dame.' In the real story, he falls off the bell tower and dies. In the Disney version, he gets accepted by the village folk and gets carried off by a cheering crowd. …Disney brainwashes little kids and makes them think life is just fluffy clouds and rainbows. …Which is OK to an extent; I just don't like it when they capitalize on our happiness.
