I have an english Essay, a Modern History Essay, and an Ancient Essay… aaannnd an art Assingment all roughly half done, all roughly due in two weeks, and currently, I am procrastinating to no end as I often do.

Which begs me to ask the question:

Is anyone else out there procrastinating at this moment in time?
Whose got stuff to do, buuuut isn't doing it?
Or is doing something, but that something isn't incredibly productive?

and with that done, I should REALLY do my Modern History Essay… Essay… essay… ess… es-saaayy….. aaayyyy… Comics.

aw man, ya still got 2 weeks left? that aint procrastination, the alert aint in the red yet. see, whatcha do is yawait a day or two till their due, maby even the night before, psyche yerself up and go at it full force, convincing yerself that the material ya've written is so good it doesnt HAVE to meet the length requirements and then do even slightly less than that, putting it to the side to go watch TV and forgetting about it till times up. THAT is how ya procrastinate.

I'm either sketching random doodles or staring at the wall while listening to a radio station that only plays the theme songs of television shows from 20 years ago. I should be drawing comic pages, getting done with commissions, doing college work, working on scripts, and blah blah blah but I'm too distracted worrying whether Charles in Charge, Car 54, or the Family Matters theme song will be playing next.

I get distracted easily and it's hard to get back on track. ><

I have minecraft to play and various tv shows to watch online but Artwork keeps getting in the way. Good thing I ignore most of it so I can watch these important shows and play games.

True story.

We're all born procrastinators, that's why alarm clocks have snooze buttons. Once, I've procrastinated something until six months past the deadline. That was fun.

Aww jeez.

- tidy my room
- finish my history homework
- print out my science homework
- sort out my school bag
- change my bedcovers
- dust
- vacuum
- colour 2 pages of Faceless
- draw 1 more page of Faceless
- update F.

Wow. I didn't realise I had so much to do…
But it's gotta be done sometime.

I procrastinated for about a year and a half…

But I finally worked up the courage to finish up Choicecomics.net!

This of course, after I destroyed the DB on accident when cleaning the 20320433 spam bots…

So there is a success story for you…

hell yes. but not usually. It seems the more important it is to me, the more I drag.

And when it's really important, I take care of everything first (balance the check book, make lists, send birthday greetings, make numerous inane DD posts) THEN I play 20 games of snood, 30 games of freecell, etc., all the while building up an adrenaline reservoir. Build it up so that I can't sleep right, can't eat right (although I can still drink my cheap table wine).

everyone at work thinks I'm "coming down with something". uh, OK

And when great, vast depths of adrenaline are accumulated, spilling over the dam, and a little maelstrom is added in, and when all seems lost -

sometimes it works out.

let's keep those fingers Crossed :dizzy:

Replying to this while I work on my comic page, but I most defiantly do not procrastinate in any way, shape or form.

Procrastinating late at night as we speak. I procrastinate on everything. I still have to get my page done for my Sunday update. But you know what? I don't like procrastinating. I like getting work done.
