..But here I am anyway. I've been ghosting around DD for several months now, and working on the script of my comic with my good buddy for a little less time than that. We got a little overly excited and I hopped on here and started posting the comic - without a buffer as I had originally intended. Turns out that it's been a bit of an encouraging thing anyway. We have two fans!

I'm not usually much for posting in forums, but I would like people to read my comic, so here I am…
I've been reading lots of the posts in various topics, and everyone keeps saying how amazing the community is here. I sure hope you're all right! I've seen plenty of jerks saying plenty of sarcastic or mean-spirited things, but I know it's not cool to judge a crowd by the few loudest members.
So.. Hi! I'm an artist by hobby, as well as a singer/songwriter, storyteller, and general nutcase. I recently purchased a Wacom tablet, and I've fallen in love with it - which is what gave me the courage to post a comic at all. It was so much work to upload and edit my pictures before.
Anyway… I've rambled on, and ocnfessed my insecurities enough.

And new Wacom, eh? I lost the pen to my ancient one a while back (it's one of those ooooooold ones from, like, 2000) and I'm hoping to just get a whole new one with whatever I scrounge over the holidays. What model did you go for?
Welcome to the forums, Inara Bloodclaw. We've tried the "buffer" thing, but always end up updating at the last minute, no matter how hard we try to get ahead. Hope the forums don't turn you off too much, yeah…we've got our fair share of gits, but there are a lot of fun, quirky posters too. Promise. Good luck with the comic, just keep pluggin' away…if you make it…they will come. (So "they" tell me.)
If you're absolutely set on wondering who I saw bashing who, then I'll just have to dissappoint you. I tend to ignore people who can't be civil, regardless of who they aren't being civil to, and whether or not said person 'deserves' it.
Anyway, it's pretty neat that so many of you stopped by to say hi.. I've even been added as a friend by a couple of people, though I'm not sure what I did to deserve it… Which may or may not sound dumb. Like I said, I'm not really a forum person.
