This thread is completely out of date- the new thread is stickied at the top of the Networking and Community forum! However I 'm keeping this info around because it may be useful.

DO NOT RELY ON THIS THREAD TO BE ACCURATE- MOST OF THESE PROJECTS HAVE ENDED

What community projects are going on? It's nice to have them all in one place, isn't it? Well here you are!

This thread is always in development! Let me know if I've forgotten any by replying in this thread. Also reply if you want your community project added to this list. (I'll probably delete your reply after adding the info to the first post.)

Let's keep this thread tidy, OK? If you have questions about one of the projects, try and direct them to the person who is running it. I've provided links to forum threads etc. where they're relevant. You're much more likely to get an answer if you talk to the right people!

I'd consider a community project to be something that involves people's creativity in some way, and also invites group participation and contribution of ideas and is not just an 'opportunity' for other people to draw something you wrote. Link exchanges wouldn't really count. Fan art exchanges might, if there was a person organizing them or it was an ongoing thing (like the Secret Santa project).

If you've submitted a community project but I haven't added it, it's probably because it sounded too much like you just wanted an artist or colorist and the participants would not have much say about what actually went into the comic or its direction. A comic that has already been written and just needs people to contribute pages is not really a community project, it's just one or a few people looking for guest artists. Most people participate in community projects because they're looking to get some of their own ideas and characters out there.
