Hiya MadTarnsman. You were one of the more normal people I remember bumping into at that other webcomics site. Glad you didn't listen to all the negative nancies and gave the Duck a chance, and I hope you like it here!

(but don't get too attached, they're overhauling the place next month. *gulp*)

Welcome back! I would make a witty comment right here, but I'm not really known for wit so I'll just say:

Watch out for ayesinback, I'm pretty sure she has some kind of stock in her community projects. You're new, so I'd give it about a week before she descends on you in a rabid, unholy hurricane of contest applications and shameless self-promotion.

I'm pretty sure everyone here has a chicken fetish.

There's a Mafia game that's just now signing up in the General Forums. I'm…not entirely sure what it all entails, but I've been told there will be lynching so it can't be that bad.

Don't believe half the stuff you read here, as we're all a touch crazy. Except for the Chuck Norris thread.You can believe everything in that one, it's entirely true.

Per John Norman's novels about Gor, a tarn is a hawk like bird…huge…trained for battle with steel shod talons. A warrior who rides the bird into combat is called a tarnsman.

It doesn't sound like the most sane of aspirations so I went with MadTarnsman…..it's also a name that never conflicts with somebody already having it.

Yes, my comic has parallels to Gor. After corresponding with Mr. Norman for quite some time, he suggested I "invent my own world" and go to it since he really didn't want to give anyone permission to use his works.
