Okay this is a question that has been asked since comics first came out and I wanna see your answers :] Somehow someway you got (choose ONE: Electric, Super Strength, and invincibility, fire, super Agility, and reflexes, Teleportation, or to be super smart) powers what would you do would you be good bad neutral and why Also where would you get your costume from (if you want one)
Note: I didn't put flight in on purpose just because you have a power does not mean you can fly keep that in mind

What would you do with super powers?
There are so many I would want!
The ability to talk to computers would be the best one. Then I could switch all the school computers to display gay porn.
Being super smart would be cool. Then I could simply not attend any classes, and ace all tests. THE CHAVS WOULD BE GOBSMACKED. AHAHAH
Invisibility…Nuff said.
Intangibility would work with that power too, yes.
But yes, the best would be talking to computers. ATM machines wouldn't know what hit them…
Not to mention I could just ask my laptop to tell me everything wikipedia has on the school subject I'm researching…I think…

I would have telekinesis, so I could stop people making pointless threads.
Seriously though, telekinesis would be awesome. I'd be all 'I can move this thing without using my hands'. I'd use it to be lazy, probably.

Aren't you kind of assuming that computers would be cooperative with you? That bit at the beginning of Maximum Overdrive where the ATM calls that guy an asshole springs to mind.

Guys, I think the question was which of those listed would we pick, in which case I'd pick electricity! What would I do with these powers? Ever play Infamous? And no costume.
However, if I had a choice, I would pick force sensitivity. Telekinesis, precognition, strength, reflexes and a whole bunch of other stuff all rolled into one broad superpower.
I'd just get Hiro's Time and space ability from Heroes.
especially since how he can teleport AND move though time. :P I'd just hope that no wacky hijinks occur with me as it did him.
I'd use it for both good and for my personal profit as well.
I mean, think about it….. I go back in time to open an bank account with some banks that has been around forever and has no way of closing down ever, and my money just builds itself up thanks to interest rates. And then in the present, I just say I'm an relative of the person who opened the bank accounts… and that it's basically an family account in name.
Boom, I'm an instant millionaire. I would also read up on my history, etc… especially of lottery numbers, etc and see if I can't go back in recent time to get those same winning lottery numbers. =3
After that, I would just go around saving some people if they needed me. :P I'd just appear suddenly, teleport them out of danger and then disappear again before they saw me so that they would have no idea who did it. lol

Really, if I had my choice of powers (or power sources, or whatever) I'd just want the Force…with all it entails.
BUT, if choosing from the list, probably invinceability. Really, what cooler superpower is there? Nothing can stop you…period. I mean, with that one, yeah you could get your arse kicked all day long, and still get up and keep on goin'.
So, yeah…that's it.
I kinda want one of those power mimicking/absorbing powers akin to those that Rogue from X-Men (except I could control it better) or Peter Petrelli from Heroes.
I sometimes pretend that I actually have that already but it's useless to me since nobody else has superpowers for me to steal. :(
OOH! I'd go for regenerative powers, if that's available. Especially if longevity comes with the package.
What power would I want? Omnipotence. That way I'd have ALL of those nice powers in one nice little package.
The downside is having to put up with worshippers while needing them at the same time.
I could go with the ability to talk with computers, but they won't all cooperate with me. Case in point: a scene from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (the one with Gene Wilder in it)… The computer's creator asked his computer where the golden tickets were and it said "I could tell you, but that would be cheating."
From the list, super smart would be good, although how smart comes into play here. Smart for a human or ridiculously brilliant, you know? If I can riddle out how to make incredible advancing discoveries, then I'd definitely go for this.
Teleportation has a lot of potential, too.
I wouldn't bother with a costume for any of these, since the powers listed are pretty generic and I don't see much reason to attract attention.
i'd be super smart so i could just figure out how to get all the other super powers. what would i do? whatever i wanted to.Damn you for beating me to the putch! I'd do the same but figure out a way to go back in time to stop Pit from getting his power >:D
Also I'd be good in an evil way like Code Gease but instead of dieing in the end I would instead unit the world under my rule! Science would flourish we would be in space colonizing in no time. >:D
On that list, I would so want electricity cause I shoot fucking lightning outta my fingers! Or my eyes (like in my avi) but, despite that, I would go for invincibility. The never dying version. It would suck a lot of the time never being able to die when heaps of your friends droppin' like flies compared to you. But I could live to see everything of the human race. I could see space travel and probably be alive for so long I'd be smart enough to figure out how to shoot lightning from myself. the future! I could see it happen! It'd be sick. I could see the fall of man and go exploring the universe in some ship I built and find alien races. It would be mega-awesome.
Also time-control (not on list) is tied with invincibility. Just slowing time would be cool, or stopping town and doing a whole bunch of shit, it'd be equally as cool.
I would go for teleportation, and then commit petty crimes like that douchebag from Jumper, and hopefully Samuel L. Jackson won't show up to kill me. I guess my costume would be a ski mask, just in case they had cameras in whatever room I teleport into to steal stuff. Probably just stick to Wal-Marts and other soulless corporations, or whatever.
