I'm pretty sure it's a terrible nightmare involving a fire truck with the McDonald's logo on the side.
I don't like to talk about it.

I was about 2 or 3. I was sitting in my living room under a plastic play house. I remember pushing the plastic house and feeling strong.

I have a picture of that moment, too. Strange.

At the age of 3, I decided to drink rubbing alcohol…which of course, could have killed me. I remember choking and not being able to breathe. I remember my dad racing to help me, although I don't remember the details of how he helped me. But obviously he succeeded, because I'm still alive.

Watching my brother playing Worms 2. This only happened about three years ago.

I'm serious, I can't remember anything that happened beyond that point. I've seen some videos of me as a toddler, but I don't really count those as memories, since I didn't really remember them.

If they do count, then punching my cousin in the face.

My earliest memory was when I was four. Waking up in my mother's bed, staring at a cream wall, more awake than I've ever been, trying to remember for the life of me what had happened the day before.

Or… all four years before. I'd totally lost my memory.

I knew who I was, where I lived, people close to me… But I could barely remember my age, or any events before that day. That was the same day I started Primary school. Wish I'd have actually asked what we'd done the day before. XD;

I'm not sure if it was just a dream or maybe if it was before I had learned how to talk, but I was very young. There were two people conversing in what sounded like opera singing. There was a woman and a man, and when I looked at each, they were in different colors. Like, everything I saw was some shade of green, or some shade of orange or some shade of purple. It was very strange.

I'm not really good with the specifics of when it happened, but I must have been young. I remember it was a saturday morning around 7-ish, and I climbed over the wall of my crib, fell two feet to the floor, and ran to the family room to watch the saturday morning cartoons.

The next one after that was me playing with play-doh while my parents talked about signing me up for preschool. I was probably 4 then.

I'm not sure if this was a dream, a vision, or what the heck it was:

I remember walking into a room at my friend's house and seeing a white toy chest with a Raggedy Andy doll sitting on it. It was staring blankly at the wall opposite of the chest and my heart stopped. Slowly, the doll began to lean forward and turn to me with a grin spreading across its face.

I know that's impossible, but that's the earliest memory that I have. I must have been about three or four years old and I haven't been able to go near dolls since. I'm quite a pediophobe.

By the way, this isn't necroposting, is it?

When I first discovered that green lollipops are my favourite. My kindergarten teacher ran out of orange ones.

My first memory was my entire view being a shade of light orange. It was probably before I opened my eyes.

But my earliest real memory was getting my nappy (a.k.a diaper in Americaland) changed.

My earliest memory is of my mother trying to coax me to say something to a tape recorder so she could send it to my father who was in the merchant navy, I remember getting upset and shy and running into her room. My sister wasn't there so I must have only been around a year old. The funny thing is I remember my mother, the tape machine and the doorway to her room, everything else is justt white surround.
Another early memory I have is telling my youngest sister to go into the living room because my parents had a surprise for her, the surprise was they wanted to change her and to stop her kicking up a fuss they got me to get her out of hiding. I must have been around three at the time. It always makes me laugh as just remember her toddling into the room then hearing "nooooooooo…" cruel but funny.

I'm walking down the street and coming back from a museum. The ground is very cracked and jagged; it obviously hasn't been kept very maintained. A family friend and I are playing "Don't step on a crack" and in my hand I hold a Little Mermaid in a small vat off gelatinous goo.

Another early memory is that same friend and I climbing under a barn and looking at stray kittens feeding on their mother. They were very cute (black and white), but we couldn't get near them.

I love those two memories.

Watching my dad put a toy together for me. It was a cheap little plastic airplane but it was my favorite and only and my brother had broken the wing off. I thought it was the coolest thing ever when he took out a lighter and melted the broken edges back together. I think I was 3 or 4 maybe younger.

My earliest memory I was sitting beside a woman and we were riding in a car. I felt very happy. As we passed some people, my head hurt and that's all I remember.

I remember sitting in the covered wagon as my parents fought off the indians that were attacking.

Okay, I'm not that old… My first memory was being held in my father's arms as he walked along the observation area on Seattle's Space Needle. I was about a year old, and that's all I can remember of the short time we lived in Seattle.

I'm surprised I still have some memories from my days as a baby! I remember falling asleep in a hammock, holding a bottle of milk and listening to Billy Joel's "Piano Man" song. :)
