bad luck having you pc break on you and losing all you Hi-res pictures, i hope that the damage wasn't to great and that you are able to get restarted on what you want to do soon. my pc recently broke but i fixed, theres a lot of stuff going around that you can like recover things off broken hard drives but unfortunately its not true and it doesn't work except for perhaps one solution. that is you put the Hd in the freezer, in a bag so not to get wet and damaged. this is supposed to give you a small amount of usage but i am not sure as i have never used it.
The idea of an animated project sounds great, will it be full color or line art like your "ask jack" clip? i thought it was great without color, but True color would just be amazing. Perhaps you could animate a slice of the comic itself?

It will probably be in color, but if for some reason I decide against that then it will be in black and white like the comic. NO LINEART. UGH that was ugly.
