So here's the very first superchum website I ever did myself (but not Superchum's first appearance on the web), back in 2000 when I lived in Hong Kong.
Old School Superchum
I made the strip very modular, 4 panels. So I could flip it between a horizontal strip format or a vertical "page" format. I also toyed the with the art style, dumbing it down to a manga-esque cartoony monstrosity that I eventually abandoned about 22 pages in. I only got 15 or so of these colored. I have a 44 page story. Maybe I'll post all 44 of em somewhere someday in B/W.
It's Geocities. It's kind of horribly designed. But meh, it was fun to do back in the day.

Thanks. I really feel comfortable with the current style. It's far more natural for me. Back then I was trying to change the entire comic around to something more like a comic strip so I could try to market it like that. But I don't think it was working. I learned a lot though about coloring and lettering from those pages. So they helped a lot.
And I still try to draw Girlfriend as hot as I possibly can. Her and Friend make their Official Appearance in page 8, which is in the middle of being colored right now.
