Thread "THE FINAL COUNTDOWN..." in forum "Heroes Unite"

Script is almost done, We have a great team line-up and everyone knows their pages. So all we need to do is finalise a couple of small things and this comic can get started. I personally think that this is going to be really well received and will increase the readership of all the books.

Here is what we need:

1)
Monkeymafia-what is your ETA on the Front Cover?

2)
Everyone-what kind of time frame do you need for your pages once you have the script?

3)
Everyone-Does anyone have suggestions for the design of Deuce?

The only other thing - don't post your finished pages on the Forum, if you send your pages to both me (for finishing/posting) and to the following artist from you.
Once I have the first half of the book ready to go I will start posting the comic every other day, this will be frequent enough for readers to really enjoy it and also a good enough head start that hopefully people will have finished their pages in time.

Next week will be the final week for these details, after that it's time to start working.

2) I can't do anything before Oct. 5th, but after that it should take me maybe 3 days for a page, maybe less, depends on the details. I still need some time to do my own stuff though, so an average of 3 weeks for 5 pages should be a good guess.

I should be able to do about 2 page's a week.
I know its not alot but i only get to draw in my lunch hour at work, so after eating it would work out to be 45mins a day.
Should be fine tho,

I hope. lol.

I think everyone is gonna need about the same sort of time to do their pages, so I've had a little think and im suggesting a plan as follows:

Assuming we roughly all begin work when you get the script, then i will be first and will take approx. 2 weeks to do my pages, which means Abt_Nihil, you will have this time to complete the 1st of your 5 pages (Bombshells 1st appearance) as this will fall in between my set. (This should be after 5th Oct)

Once these are done I will begin updating the comic DAILY (for maximum effect) which means, Literacysuks1 who follows me, you will have the starting 2 weeks + 6 days to complete your pages.

Spudsy you will have 2 weeks + 11 days to complete your pages & Abt_Nihil, you will have this time to complete the 2nd of your 5 pages (Bombshells first appearance in costume) as this will fall in the middle of Spudsy's set.

Monkeymafia, you will have 2 weeks + 16 days to do your pages and finally Abt_Nihil, you will have 2 weeks + 21 days to do your final 3 pages.

Don't forget that you will also need to do the final shot picture during this time.

Obviously if we don't do it like this, theres no big deal, just thought it might help people to have some kind of structure.

Oh good, that sounds like plenty of time. With school going on I can get out 3 or 4 B&W pages per week, so unless I lose my hands in a freak accident I'll be on time.

As for deuce…I really still have zero ideas. Although I do think he should look more like a random alien soldier and less like a powerful Thanos type…I'll keep thinking and hopefully I'll end up with some ideas that are less vague.

I'll get the cover done this weekend. I need a colour pic of Tazor and Bombshell to go off, apart from that I'm all set.

Script should be done by Wednesday this week. Which means we have until then to complete the design of Deuce.

If anyone has a design or even ideas to add to the existing design, let me know. Failing that I will do one more final version (taking into account Literacysuks1 suggestions to make him more of a random alien soldier) and post it when done.

Im happy to do this but I don't want to feel like Im controlling the villains look, so even if you have reference suggestions that would be cool.

I hope no one minds but im going to draw a 1 page roll call sheet of the team to post on the site.

It will be a small picture and description of the character, it serves a few purposes:

1) I can practise the characters
2) It lets people know who is in this book
3) It's an advert for the book

I will do this for the end of the week.

I anticipate the comic to start on October 10th

I'm working on my thesis 24-7, so I won't be able to say anything about the script until next week. Thanks for getting it done so quickly though!
