Thanks Shadow! You're a pretty great author!

Nobody will give fanart to a shitty copy/paste comic, especially if the comic's copy/paste art sucks.

Well, there is ONE type of person to give fanart to a bad comic. A person who draws even worse is the kind that would give fanart.

That's you.

You draw bad. And your proportions of the body (ie. arms, legs, face) aren't the same size as a real person, or even the same as the other drawings.

At least my Chibis are all similar in size to each other.

Guess what. Sprites are copy/paste.

All ysqure3 did was post fanart for a comic they like, then you have to insult them? That's uncalled for, and makes you an immature fool.

Not too many people care about your opinion, and changing your avatar to that just so you can insult a comic goes to show that you have too much free time. I suggest going outside, and become a minority of America, by doing something productive.

And if you really feel the need to insult other's comics(And then call it critizing), rather than improving your own, I'll help you out. Use the Search. Type in Megaman. Hit enter.

If your comments on Powerup Comics proper hadn't already proved it beyond all doubt, this post just showed me what a raging idiot you are. It's pathetic when people aren't even able to pull the "you can't criticize if you can't do it better yourself" card and resort to spastic nonsense.

What the hell, Darkling? I wouldn't have said anything if you hadn't come in here stomping all over some guy's fanart, but you did, so: your art is objectively terrible. Who cares if your "Chibis" are "the same size as each other" (congratulations, that must have taken years to master)? They look awful.

There's a theory of drawing that posits symbol as the first stage in an artist's progression from worthless to talented - repetitive shapes are used to represent a real life object. That's why in the drawings of very young children, flowers, faces in crowds, etc are represented by identical shapes, copied out in rows or columns. In your comic "Taco Tuesday", every character has the exact same body and face shape. Everything is a big sphere on top of a trapezium. All hands are little spheres, floating to the side of the body. You haven't progressed past the first stage of artistic growth.

Sure, there are a few surface details that distinguish character (hair and so on), but everyone has identical body language and body shape, so it takes effort to tell them apart. That shouldn't happen in any comic. It's widely accepted that the test of effective comic art is whether a reader is able to make out a character's identity and mood from a black silhouette. Your art fails on both counts.

Not to mention the fact that you keep swapping between handwriting and computer lettering (how do you think it would be if a comic just changed fonts every time it updated?), ink only parts of your comics so that it's sometimes impossible to read your speech bubbles, only ever utilize a couple of poses, don't even rule straight lines for your panel borders, and use tacky gradient fills on your stickman comic.

Ysqure3, on the other hand, has drawn pretty dynamic versions of these characters (no, they don't have the same proportions as a real human being… but real human beings don't have heads three times the size of their bodies, either). They do have a consistent anatomy throughout the series - the length of legs is exaggerated and heads are smaller than that of a real life human (Moobs stands out because he has a unique anatomy in PUC). And if you were shown a silhouette of each character, you would be able to tell them apart.

So basically I have no idea where you are getting off with this baiting and insulting.

Actually, I just did some measurements, and the heads are too big. In one of the comics, Shadow has a head that's ~80 pixels high, and his entire body is ~380, which makes him about 5 heads tall. According to Andrew Loomis, the average human body is actually 7 and a half heads tall. Conclusion: Shadow, at least, has a head that's too big by quite a bit.

If you meant MY drawings of the PUC crew, the heads are still too large in most cases. Chug and Moobs are about 5 heads high, while Dorkwinkle is 6 (still too much head in proportion to the body), while Shadow towers at anywhere from 9.1 to 9.8 heads (it's hard to tell what exactly a head is with all that hair rising far above his skull proper)–either way, he's a gargantuan. In any case, my drawings (except Shadow) should actually have SHORTER torsos and LONGER legs if they were to conform to real anatomy (again, according to Andrew Loomis).
