A Call For Cameos and Sacred McGuffins!
His own …multiverse????
What do you call a group of multiverses, unless you call them an omniverse?
ANYway…looks like an interesting character. However, since he's not in an already-existing comic, I don't think he'd fit in right now, and he sounds so near-omnipotent it'd be hard to include him and maintain any suspense…which is one reason the Spectre doesn't appear often in Justice Society any more.
So…not right now. Maybe later.
Your other characters look interesting too, but they might not quite be right for us yet…
You might check out HEROES UNITE and its associated comics(also at Drunkduck) that often takes totally new characters and incorporates them into their group. We're TRYING, for the most part, to incorporate already-existing characters with a proven track record in this comic—not criticizing HU, there are virtues in both approaches, but that's what we're striving for right now.
Besides, the CROSSOVERLORD has a finite timespan and a definite end in mind. Some of us ARE going to work on a sequel, but not right now. Think of it the way you would CRISIS or INFINITY GAUNTLET, rather than a constantly ongoing series like, say, the AVENGERS.
In one way or another I would like the (still-unnamed) GROUP to continue, but at the moment it looks like it might be in separate storylines.—Al
I have a character for whom I am in the beginning stages of drawing the comic that would work in these circumstances:
Tempore
The agent of order for his own multiverse (not this one). Tempore's sole purpose is to bring order and assure that his multiverse stays the way it always should. The only reason for him to ever venture out of his multiverse is if the equivalent or facimile from another universe specifically asked for his help, or if he is pursuing someone or thing that has caused or is causing chaos in his multiverse.
Tempore's powers allow him to travel between realities, heal temporal rifts and to send focused energy attacks of cosmic radiation.
I have other characters I would love to include, as well, but they may not be acceptable. It all depends on whether you see them as fan characters. They were made on the message boards for the comic Pride High. They are fan characters by some standards, but they are encouraged by the comic's creator and we retain full rights to our characters, to do with them as we please. I will include links below, but understand if they are rejected because of the tenuous line they inhabit.
My main characters:
Split
Protean
My lesser-tier characters:
Dragrant
Sea Embers
Phobia
Zhia
Bind
Lash
I would definitely love to see my Pride High characters in an actual comic, even as cameos, especially since the comic script I've been trying to pass around to see who will draw it has been severely held up because I am not able to offer money.
I guess I'll also mention my webcomic Comfortably Numb because, even though it's a terrible comic and not related to superheroes or the supernatural, it might be interesting to see Nova in another comic, and I might get more incentive to go back to it.
And you see in this why I figure I ramble too much.
*A shingle is hung upon non-existance with the words "Coming Soon" printed on it.*
This looks as good a place to begin again as any. I think I shall be polite this time around though.
I can't say as I care much for the fellow with the grin, he's in the way, you know?
I'll be in touch.
If you're still looking for cameo fodder, I'd be honored to have Lady Spectra & Sparky turn up. Assuming there isn't some union rule against having two bucket-headed lady gadgeteers in one comic. ;-)

I think we can waive the law against duplicating heroines with bucket heads in this case. *Grin* Making no promises, right now we're in the middle of something where it will be hard to bring in someone else, but we might have a place for a cameo in a crowd scene (think Crisis on Infinite Earths) towards the very end. —Al
I seem to take large breaks in even reading comics, let alone posting to their forums.
Anyway, from what I have read, the progression is as such:
Universe
Multiverse
Megaverse
Omniverse
Therefore, I gave Tempore a smattering of worlds, and said he has a multiverse. I would think a way he could be included would be his refusing to help Ringo in his ordeals, because of his own problems. However, I recognize that he has no comic, and that can be difficult. It's just–I have no ability to draw, and he would not be the center of his own comic, just an influential character.
I wish I could have gotten in here in time to be a part of the cover for "The Mourning". At least my Pride High characters could fit in that context.
Anyways, I still like the comic, no matter my inability to get in it. Of course, if I am able to actually get a comic running, I'll hope to get it into crossovers.
Oh, and I have tried Heroes Unite and Heroes Alliance. The former seems to be in a freeze–not taking any more characters–and the latter is stalling quite a bit. Besides, they don't really want to hop universes yet in Heroes Alliance, and so it's harder to get things accepted.
I feel like I'm whining just a little.
Hi, my name is Jim Cleaveland, and I produce "The Inexplicable Adventures of Bob!" a serialized science fiction humor strip at http://bobadventures.comicgenesis.com
If you have any use for him at this late date, you are welcome to use Bob, or any of his supporting cast or settings. I would have contacted you sooner, but I was under the impression that you were only looking for "super heroes" per se. Bob Smithson is nominally the "world's most average man," and yet through odd circumstance he keeps saving the world from disaster again and again and again.
His life was relentlessly if comfortably dull for years, until the day he suddenly and with no apparent explanation (hence the title) became a weirdness magnet. Now paranormal things happen to him almost daily. Spaceships crash into his roof, unicorns come to graze in his yard, world-destroying weapons get dropped on his doorstep, megalomaniacs keep getting him mixed up in their schemes. Bob sees it all through with surprising grace, for despite his seemingly infinite normalcy, he does have a few outstanding qualities: he is very decent and kind, he has an uncommon amount of common sense, he is brave even if he doesn't go looking for trouble (it always seems to find him), and he's a little too thick-skulled to really grasp the awesome implications of things he encounters on a regular basis.
The strip's big running gag is that large objects keep crashing into Bob's roof. These are usually alien spaceships, but they can be anything at all: so far he's had a giant tentacled monster, an American rocket, a giant ray cannon, a giant unicorn's rear, and a blimp all destroy his roof. So… if a large object or character were to get thrown off-panel (perhaps into a dimensional warp), it would be quite reasonable for it to crash into Bob's roof. In all likelihood he would be nearby, look up, smack his face, and say, "Not again…" At any event, the officially ultimate "average guy" seems like he might not be too hard to work into a cameo. I hope ^_^;
If you've any use for a villain, for that matter, the series's main recurring baddie is a semi-humanoid moth-like alien named Fructose Riboflavin, who wants to overthrow the emperor of the Nemesite Space Empire. (Earth is in the middle of said empire, but is unaware of it).
Here are character turnarounds of Bob and his friends:

And here are extended character descriptions (Bob is on page 1, Riboflavin is on page 2):

Thanks! I hope it's not too late!

I am not involved in the creation of either of these so I can't give any kind of permission for cameos or anything, but I thought I'd point out Jump Leads (http://www.jump-leads.com/) which features a self-appointed "Reality Police" who could be worth a mention or even a cameo and Scenes From A Multiverse (http://amultiverse.com/) which is a tour throughout all sorts of crazy locations in all kinds of different universes one or two of which might make a good backdrop for some adventure.
I obviously don't know what kind of cameos we might expect from the Crossoverkill story, but I think both of these comics are worth checking out in any case.
