Ok, so I managed to get out a script for the Ecotist story. And throw Crime-Warp into the mix too. So basically, an earth shattering case of vandalism puts the Heroes Alliance on the trail of an uncatchable foe and they gotta go go teamwork to pull off a victory.

Our Heroes Alliance for this chapter will be played by:
Bombshell
Relik
Bleeder
Comet Kid (of course)
Vora, Princess of the Skies
Blue Jay
Azumorph
Shell

Our Special Guest Villains are:
Crime-Warp
The Ecotist
The Delegation of Hurt

I got sixteen pages if you want a piece of the action, though the script may need some finalizing.

Pages:
Cover-Hero-Done
Page 1-Melsr007-Done
Page 2-Melsr007-Done
Page 3-Hero-Done
Page 4-Hero-Done
Page 5-Legend Comics-In progress
Page 6-Hero-Done
Page 7-Abt_Nihil
Page 8-Legend Comics-In Progress
Page 9-Abt-Nihil
Page 10- Meechi-In progress
Page 11-Meechi-In progress
Page 12-fukujinzuke-Done
Page 13-Hero-In progress
Page 14-shastab24-Done
Page 15-fukujinzuke- In progress
Page 16-sux-In progress

I may be able to do a simple page. Since this would be a test of my abilities on other characters, I really don't want to bite off more than I can chew. So, I know I'm not good at action, and can't stuff very many characters into a panel. Though I am willing to concede the first point, I don't think I have the skill to get past the second (yet, though that could change at some point in my future if I, you know, actually work on my art). My contribution would likely be pencils, but I would try to get everything done, even if that would mean inking (something I have never done).

But this would be a good barometer for me, as then I could see how much further I could go on other projects, and how fast I could reasonably assume I could draw a page (something I never take into consideration).

Hero - You did a great job on the script. Yes, you can count me in for the action scenes you and Jo had in mind.

I can't wait to see this :)

Also I forget, who is the ecotist?

:neenjah: Hello can you put me down for two pages :spin:

Oh yeah, I forgot about that hahah. I really want to see what Hero has done with that character :)

Once I finish the Kaine origin, I might be able to do a page for this, if you want.

Cool! I've been assigned a page, now I can't wait to see the script, so I can work on it (though I understand you're touching it up).

I might be down for one page. JUST one, and that's under the circumstances that you get a shortage of artists. ^^

Ok. I think I've made all the changes I'm gonna make. I'm gathering all my references right now before sending the script out to the artist already signed up.

I've finished my pncils, but may make an adjustment or two before heading to inking. I always remind mysef while drawing that I can't draw hands (I don't know about my feet right now, because I didn't have to draw any–yay for panel borders sometimes!), though I do have one panel which I am overall proud of.

Sadly, though Bombshell is in all of my panels, I have done no fanservice shots. I don't think I could pull them off if I tried. Also, I had no idea that drawing Bleeder would be harder than drawing Relik. The things you learn…

An addendum to my post above: I will not be inking the page. Luckily I tried inking with tracing paper (because I wanted to be ready for any problems or mistakes I would make), because I have seen first-hand now how bad ball-point pens are for inking. I didn't know it would be so bad, though, because they never have smudged for me before (while all other types of pens do smudge for me). I may try a different tack of tracing my initial pencils with a black colored pencil, but overall I think I will be applying my coloring directly to my pencils. It just means that I likely will not even be trying computer coloring and just go with colored pencils. But, I think it may work, and it's only one page, after all, so people wouldn't have to suffer through too much of that if they don't like it. The lettering will look interesting, though, being the only computer-done aspect (because if I lettered by hand, my handwriting would likely clash quite a bit with the rest of the pages–I know there has been a push to at least keep the lettering in Heroes Alliance to be uniform, unlike in Heroes Unite, otherwise I'd probably do hand lettering).

Behold, I rise from the ashes like the Phoenix to reclaim my role as an artist on such a great collaboration.

Hey, guys. I'm proud to say I'm back and will be in top form this time around. After a long hiatus, it's time for me to get back on the saddle and pursue my dreams. This will be kind of a returning to comics moment for me, so I plan on making it a great run.

Done coloring the characters, and now I realize I need to draw a background (gosh darn it, I should have thought of it, because I do need a background so the glow of the teleportation effect can be shown, but it just takes a little more time). Sadly, I couldn't scan my pencils before I did this, because the scanner I'm using (at the local library) is all kinds of annoying. It's old, and would require a couple scans of the page, because it can't pick up an entire page. Hopefully I can find a better one to use, but I'm not counting on it.

…And I'm very done. Scanned, lettered, sent. I hope Hero is able to get it (considering his current problems), and I still don't know about the lettering. GIMP is not made for the practice (I would love to have an option to justify text in a circular, rather than square, pattern, for instance).

But I feel happy that I finished it. It gave me some confdence towards my other projects, as well as information on what works, and what I need to not even try next time (like using the entire drawing paper I used–it's just too thick and scanners don't like it, as well as other things).

I can't wait for the chapter to go live, because I want to see it (and purposely left myself rather in the dark with the script–I basically only know what's in my page and the one before it). It should be fun to see the whole thing (and see what people say about my artwork–and that little tingly feeling when the comic goes into print and I see my artwork as one of the pages).

I don't see where it says the deadline for pages. Not that I want to put them off or anything but I'm just busy for the rest of the week. If they're due, say, tomorrow, then I have a lot of work still left to do.

I have a question, do we have reference to the super cops in the story? if not, I might be able to come up with something.

I did these for my page, so I think we might be able to use them for later stories :D

Woohoo, Hero's back! And it makes me feel guilty, because th first thing it made me think is whether I could then ask for art. Bad Shasta, no cookie for you.
