Okay gang, here's a small excerpt I wrote some time ago when I was first throwing this idea together! Let me know what you think!

Villains Alliance Excerpt (Rough Idea I wrote ages ago â not necessarily going to be in the finished story)

PAGE X1

1 â Dane Harding of CLAW enters the interrogation room, one hand behind his back. Thereâs a confused looking Francis Spalding (scientist) seated in room under the glaring spotlight of the otherwise darkened room.

DANE â Spalding. Still alive, I see.
SPALDING â Damn it all to Hell, Harding â I demand an explanation!

2 â In one fluid motion Dane draws his arm up from behind his back: heâs got a small handgun and fires it point-blank at Spaldingâs face.

SFX â BLAM
DANE â Sorry, not going to happen.
DANE â Control, get me a Level-10 containment field around our suspectâ¦
CONTROL â This is Control â field activating.

3 â The still standing âbodyâ of Spalding seems to stare at Harding, a gaping, bloodless hole in his forehead as the yellow forcefield shimmers around him.

SFX â zmmm
SPALDING - â¦
SPALDING â How did you know?

4 â Dane holsters his firearm.

DANE â Simple: the real Nathan Spalding just came up KIA in Washington.
DANE â His last recorded coordinates were right in the middle of HA Headquarters.

5 â Close on the imposter Spalding, as his entire face begins to re-mould.

DANE â Which would make you a spyâ¦
DANE â Azumorph

PAGE X2

1 â His ruse no longer necessary, Azumorph shifts back into his usual form.

DANE â Yes, weâve known about you all along, but now heâs dead I thought it best to contain you before your team had time to pull you out.
AZUMORPH â That makes no sense, Spalding was checked for suicide-aids and was restrained at all times â how did he die?
DANE â He held his breath.

2 â Dane nonchalantly lights a cigar.

AZUMORPH â Self-asphyxiation is impossibleâ¦
DANE â Give us some credit, please.
DANE â No, a nano-explosive, embedded in his cerebellum that detonated the moment the blood-supply to his brain fell sufficiently low enough. Has all the exterior traits of an aneurysm.

3 â Azumorph hammers on the containment field, enraged as Dane look on emotionlessly, if somewhat sarcastic.

AZUMORPH â You MONSTER!!
DANE â Take a look at yourself, hero.
DANE â Oh, and donât even bother trying to alert your little âHAâ friendsâ¦

4 â Close on Azumorph as he tries to activate his HA-Communicator, to no effect.

SFX â clik clik clik
DANE - That Level-10 containment field negates all communication frequencies, and it is where you will remain until such a time when I need youâ¦ or not.

5 â Hardingâs triumphant, sneering face.

DANE â Until then, as far as your allies know youâre still successfully undercover. Which is precisely what we want them to think, reports and all.
AZUMORPH â I wonât lie to the team!
DANE â Oh, but you will â in one form or anotherâ¦
DANE â Control, I want him under surveillance 24-7. And prepare the Cracked Mirror programâ¦

PAGE X3

1 â Half-page or less. Dane leaves the interrogation room, where Aburamushi is waiting in the hallway, his shadow-serpent tendrils snapping at nearby CLAW soldiers.

ABURAMUSHI â The morphous one still lives. I do not understand you, Harding. It was you who said its insurgency posed a threat, was it not?
DANE â I did, but I never said I was going to kill the freak, only neutralise the threat. It has been dealt with, and now we hold all the cards. Our plan proceeds uninhibited, if not more so than before. Keeping that thing alive will have its benefits.
ABURAMUSHI â Such asâ¦?

2 â They walk down the hallway, the shadow-monsters giving Dane a wide berth.

DANE â Misinformation, for starters. If the HA believes Azumorph to still be undercover, once Cracked Mirror has produce its results we can proceed to feed them any âintelâ we want. Weâll have them chasing ghosts as they fall, one by one.

3 â Aburamushi turns to Dane to regard him with grim-admiration as they walk. Dane is growling, unimpressed.

ABURAMUSHI â You would have made a formidable Oniâ¦
DANE â Save it. I work with you, but letâs make one thing absolutely clear â Iâll never serve you. I serve no one but my own demons.
ABURAMUSHI - â¦
ABURAMUSHI â As you wish.

Again, this was just a rough few pages - I dont even know if Azumorph's powers would allow him to take the form of another, but at the time I didn't know anyone else with shape-changing powers. If anything, hopefully this will give you all a good idea about the general dark tone I have planned for this story…

Okay, first of all, that's some great writing there!

To answer you're question, Azumorph could potentially use his powers to take the form of another, but his skin would still be blue. However in the "fanservice chapter" thread they suggested using skin coloured makeup to hide Titan's "greenness" and we could use the same stuff here for Azu.

Now that's sorted I'll go ahead an write up the 'inserts' - the few pages that will be scattered throughout the season, hinting an building up to this finale. Keep your eyes peeled!

I am currently writing a script for some chapters of Heroes Alliance, I'll be sure to add a little to nod the disappearance of some heroes, just to make sure that it's been happening for a while now.

Been a long time - apologies for that. Internet's been kinda elusive lately.

Anyways…

Thanks mind_reader! Fuku's already started getting the gang (ie, the villains) together, but it would also be great to have consequences of their actions already evident seeing as how they ARE going back in time so, in a sense, their plan has already been executed before they even fully formulated, lol!

FYI, my hero Amalgam is NOT to be included in any snippets - his *SPOILER*death*ENDSPOILER* is the big signal to the HA (and possibly HU, I dunno about that, though) that something is wrong.

I've got a question about the actual creation process for the Anti-Heroes. Does this process require an item that has a connection to the person they are evil copy of? Because I have written a script (i.e. tweaked an unused HU Adventures script) in which something of Azumorph's is stolen.

[spoiler= "what gets stolen?"]The thing that gets stolen is the capsule that contained the alien that gave Azu his powers[/spoiler]

The process is a mix of DNA extraction and cloning, fused with dark Oni magic on Aburamushi's part. So yes, we could tie that in if you want: maybe they could find some of the alien DNA left over.

But, seeing as how they capture him as a spy anyway, chances are he'd be the first they clone an Anti-Hero of.

OK, but would Aburamushi need the item for the dark Oni magic part, as opposed to the DNA extraction part, Like holding it in his hand while he casts the spell or something?

Not as far as I can imagine - the magic would be infused with the dna from the very beginning. Having Azu already there is all they need.
