Shallot:well, alright…it'll be odd to explain to Alex later, but that can wait! *smiles and unexpectedly takes him by the hand towards their own set of woods and jumps from the ground to the sky and just sort of floats there with him enjoying the sun* hmm…*looks around and spots a fair*hey, how about we go over there!

Brenton:(huh that would explain the Carnival music i heard earlier.)alright lets go.*they then flew to th Fair as people around them were spooked as the kids land.they then looked around still holding hands*
Shallot:so what should we do first Mr fun expert?
Brenton:well what has caught your eye? the spooky fun house?*he then made a scary expressionwhich failed as Shallot raised an eyebrow* maybe the speed of the rollercoaster or the sillyness of the house of mirrors?
Shallot:why are their so many houses in this Fair?
Brenton:that's not the-…nevermind.*they then walked until Shallot spotted the rollercoaster and dragged the half breed to it making him smile as they sat next to each other before it zoomed across its tracks*
*the half breed scratched his cheek as he laughed in his trademark awkward manner*
Brenton:gosh Shal i wouldn't exactly call me cuddley but thank you!
Shallot:*Shallot smiled at him before looking at a nearby plushy making her eyes light up*
Carnie:hey kid wanna win your girlfriend that plushy she eyeing?
Brenton:bring it on old man!*he put a zennie down and beat the game allowing him to win that prize as he gave it to Shallot*there you go Shal.
Shallot:so awesome!*she kissed him on the head making him blush once more as they continue to enjoy the fair*
Shallot:*continues to wander the ground with him till it started to get late*hmm…let's start heading back.*begins to start taking him back to the fields by her house*I had a lot of fun brenton. Th-thank you very much. (I don't want this day to end…yet I feel tired. must be my body's current age. how can I keep up? I don't want to sleep yet. hmm.) hey brenton, what's the biggest secret you never told anyone?
*the question threw him off*
Brenton:(hmm i'm usually open about my feelings.)well…if i have to be honest i sometimes get these dreams.sometimes they tell me about my next opponent other times they're about my sigh…selfish desires.i haven't told anyone directly because i didn't want to come off as strange or weird.
Shallot:selfish desires? you?
Brenton:everyone has a Angel and Devil on their shoulder.
Brenton:well let's see…secret…secret.ah! i got another one! but you can't tell anyone.
Shallot:go on…?
Brenton:i…don't like bugs.

Brenton:bugs creep me out! they're small… slimey… they have too many legs…and don't get me started on the giant ones off world. i secretly tell Sakura to kill a roach if i see one.what about you?
Shallot:hmm well when i was little i done some…unsavoury things
Brenton:i figured that much.but like i said earlier that's not you anymore.
*Shallots eyes felt heavier as Shallot tired fell on the grass*
Shallot?
Shallot:hmmm…so tired.*so Brenton sighed as he lays down next to her.but was surprised when she climbed on top of him and hugged the half breed* Brenton you're so warm and comfy…like a teddy bear.*the half breed sighed as he wrapped an arm around her*
Brenton:sleep tight Shal.*as he closed his eyes he drifted off to dreamland.the next morning he woke up as he felt Shallot cuddling him in her sleep making him blush*c-come on Shal we should go home before we get in trouble.*Shallot rubbed her eye before sitting up*
Shallot:alright…*they then flew to Shallots home holding hands while they blushed and looked away*
Brenton:so you're well rested right?
Shallot:mmhmm…thanks for asking*Sakura opened the door and smiled*
Sakura:ah perfect timing! come in and eat*as they walked in Shallot was thinking to herself "don't say it" over and over until-*so how was your little date?
Shallot:*goes beet red*(it felt more like a dream, but it happened.)uh…uh date? N-no it was just two friends hanging out I swear, I would never steal him from you, sis, really!
Sakura:*smiles*(aww, she's embarrassed…and afraid. I have to wonder what made my sister change from this…)Shal, its ok I understand where your loyalties lie. I would never question that.
Alex:she's right hon. If I know my brother he was doing what he does best to make people feel better. I still love you and im not mad.
Shallot:*begins to tear up a little*th-thank you Alex.
Alex:so, *sits his own breakfast down at the table*when are you changing back?
Sakura:actually, im a little concerned about that as well.It feels a little odd now that our roles are reversed.
Shallot:*looks to both of them then brenton then looks down*…I don't know…and even if I did I don't know if I want to go back just yet.
Alex & Sakura:What?!
Shallot:don't get me wrong, part of me is wanting to return, but brenton made me realize that I sacrificed a lot. If its ok with both of you, I'd like to stay this way and be with brenton for a bit longer to see what I missed out on.*reaches over to brenton and holds his hand*
*this made him blush as he laughed while scratching his cheek*
Sakura:*smiles*well i don't have a problem with it.Alex?
Alex:it's your decision Shallot if this is what you want then i'm fine with it.now are you both hungry?
Brenton:yes!!*a few minutes later they finished breakfast as the half breed pat his stomach*ahh now that was a meal.
Shallot:so um, what should we do today? we went to the fair and its too early in the day for a picnic.*looks to her sister*what do you do sis?
Sakura:well take care of the kids mostly, though Alice is watching them.
Alex:will she be alright with them?
Sakura:of course they will. Now then,*thinks about it*have you ever been fishing before Shal?
Shallot:*thinks about it and remembers her version of it and the huge aquatic predators she blew up for food for her and Saki*…kinda?
Brenton:(why do i have a feeling that her version of fishing involves wiping out the species…)
Sakura:well when i found out about fishing Brenton showed me it was fun and relaxing.maybe you could give that a go?*Shallot looked at Brenton who smiled as he did a peace sign*
Shallot:sure.
Brenton:awesome! i know the best spots to fish! trust me Shal you'll love it.*he then wrapped a arm around her shoulder making the ex space pirate smile*
Shallot:*smiles and pecks him on the cheek*lead the way!
Alex:don't you two need some gear?
Sakura:don't worry, I already got that covered*tosses a capsule which poofs into a locker and gets out some fishing poles, hooks and more* Now you guys are set.
Shallot:thanks sis!*hugs her* Come on brenton I wanna try this out!
Alex:we'll be here if you need anything.
Shallot:ok Alex.*she then grabbed Brentons hand and ran out the door.a few minutes later the half breed and ex space pirate both appeared at a big sparkling lake surrounded by beautiful multi colored flowers*whoa…
Brenton:i know right? i fished here with Sabel months ago.
Shallot:so what do you do?*Brenton gave her one of the fishing rods*
Brenton:you grab one of these…and then swing your line out in the water like this!*he grabbed both her hands and swung the fishing line into the water.the sudden hand helding made her blush*and…relax.*he then sat down next to her*if you feel the pole moving then you caught something.
Shallot:i think i get it.
Brenton:not exactly.like i said i brought Sabel over here but that's about it.
Shallot:huh.
Brenton:i do understand if you might get bored after awhile its just for me fishing is about the company you bring not how many fishes you catch.
Shallot:i think i get what you mean.*she blushed and smiled as she leaned her head on Brentons shoulder*
Brenton:i mean last time i was here i had to kill a sea monster so for all i know its eggs might still be in there somewhere.
Shallot:that's crazy.
Brenton:heh tell me about it.
Brenton:o-on it!*he ran up to her and pulled her fishing pole *grr! this thing is either heavy or i've gotten sloppy in my training.
Shallot:a little more!*they pulled until a giant fish was launched into the sky*
Brenton:i got it!*he then flew in the air and kicked it back on the ground making Shallots eyes beam in excitement as Brenton floated down*
Shallot:its gigantic!
Brenton:heh heh see Shal? it can be fun. good job.
*meanwhile close to the area*
Ratchet:this is a nice spot.
Panty:yeha I found it a bit ago. I thought a picnic would be a nice break from all the drills. How did you get the day off anyway?
Ratchet:well, shallot wasn't around so seeing how im next in line I gave them a free day to relax.
Panty:still it's weird she wasn't there or anything.
Ratchet:I know, even on her off days she shows up to give me a list. She probably went on vacation with alex and forgot to tell anyone.
Panty:that doesn't sound like her.
Ratchet:well whatever it is she'll be fine.
Panty:that's true. Oh, have I shown you the lake?
Ratchet:there's a lake here?
Panty:yeha its great for a bunch of things. I'll show you.*takes her by the hand*
*back with the two already there*
Shallot:um…*blushes a bit*thanks brenton*hears something in the area*I think something is coming.*hides beside him*(that's odd I should be able to feel everything around here…I didn't notice it before but I can't even feel brenton. what gives?)W-what should we do?
Panty:Ratchet has the day off so we decided on a picnic. Though I never would have guessed that we would run into y-*notices a smaller figure*who's that you have there dad?
Ratchet:*looks over* you mean he's not alone?
Panty:yeha you can't feel it? its faint but there's someone else here.*points to her dad*also she's trying to hide behind my dad who's only a few inches taller.
Shallot:eep!*face gets red*(they spotted me…great.)
Brenton:*Brenton smiled at Shallot*everything is going to be fine.*he then folded his arms looking serious*you two better sit down.this might take a few minutes to explain.*he then explained everything*-and so i'm teaching her how to have fun.
Ratchet:wow…she is so adorable!*hearing this made Shallot glare at Ratchet as she held Brentons arm with both of hers*
Brenton:heh heh…
Panty:so the reason that you are also young is to help her?
Ratchet:that is so cute! like a fairytale about two lovers.
Brenton:gulp…lovers?
Shallot:tsk!*both kids blushed as they looked away from each other*
Panty:well it does kind of make sense. I mean, in my old dimension Shallot was compelling enough for my dad to fall for, marry and have 3 more kids with. So,yeah it makes sense to see these two as love birds.
Ratchet:cool!you got to tell me more about it your world? What was your mom like?
Panty:*blushes a bit*um, well thanks to meeting dad at a young age she was more…active with him.(and a bit of a perv too. Can't believe she owned all those movies.)speaking of look at them
Ratchet:*looks over at the two she can see two red faced kids and put a big grin on*(I wonder which one is more flustered?)
Shallot:*her hands are now over her face more embarrassed then ever*(M-married to him? 3 children ahhhh….I can't believe that is a thing.)*she wanders away a big but her tail almost instinctively keeps her near brenton almost as if she doesn't want to deny feelings for him.*
*the half breed smiled as he was being dragged by her tail.he then turned around and waved at the two young adults*
Brenton:enjoy your picnic!
*as they were out of Ratchets/Pantys eye sight.*
Ratchet:i ship it.
Panty:i can't believe you just said that.
Ratchet:but Panta bear! they look so adorable together.*as they were finally away from them Brenton blushed as he put his hand out allowing Shallot to stop dragging him by the tail and just hold his hand*
Brenton:it's fine Shallot they're far away from us now.
