Thread "I am new and so confused" in forum "Networking & Community Projects*"

Hello, everyone,

A friend told me about Drunk Duck! because I am looking for an illustrator for a graphic novel. I am an extremely poor filmmaker - well, actually I'm an extremely good filmmaker but my cashflow is practically non-existent at the moment. I have had an idea, though, for a series of graphic novels and have discussed that idea with a number of industry professionals, all of whom think it is a great idea. In fact, I met recently with an executive editor of one of the foremost publications in the world and he has asked me to provide him with 10 or so sample pages, at which point he will see about getting a contract for the book itself.

I am, therefore, looking for an illustrator who would be willing to work on spec for the first 10 pages, with the very real possibility that there will very quickly be some cash coming in.

Is anybody interested?
