Because it makes me feel fresh, and one of the reasons i can't sleep is because my throat is dried.
and my ear is plugged… but i can't fix that can i?

what do you guys do when you can't sleep?

play guitar…..draw….anything that fills up the time till i feel tired….

what do you guys do when you can't sleep?

I make myself horribly uncomfortable so I WANT to go to bed. I rest my feet on a cold AC unit, turn the lights off and just stare at a concentrated source of low light (computer screen/TV/etc) so my eyes get tired.

Speaking of which, my toe feels like it's going to fall off, and my eyes are about to bleed, so g'night.

I should totally go to bed right about two hours ago. Or more. *sigh*

When I can't sleep I draw or write–jot down notes for comics and stories.

If I really cannot sleep I go online–but I don't look up anything I usually go to–none of my regular sites. I might go to Wikipedia and look up something I don't really know or have interest in. Say I read a page on child labor in turn-of-the-century Russia, or something. Soon I'm so tired of reading that I just doze off! I always fall asleep when doing homework, guaranteed, so this induces the same effect.

Nothing. Oh I try to do other stuff, usually getting extra work done so I can justify being lazy later, but all I do is sit and stare at whatever I'm attempting to do before going back to bed and trying to sleep again. Which I manage about an hour before I have to wake up.

Is it really a good idea to drive around while tired? I used to go for long walks until I nearly got hit by a car, multiple times. I don't learn easily.

no siblings….when my wife lived with me, i never had a problem falling asleep if she was already in the bed…..(and no i dont mean after sex, i just mean that it was so comfortable, it was just easy to fall asleep)…

I usually just have some Non-Alchoholic Swedish Grog. Bought from Ikea.

when my wife lived with me, i never had a problem falling asleep if she was already in the bed…..(and no i dont mean after sex, i just mean that it was so comfortable, it was just easy to fall asleep)…

I agree; there's something about having a warm body in the bed next to me that really helps my sleeping habit. It took some getting used to at first, but now I love cuddling up with my husband. He's like a giant teddy bear. lol!

ditto. or I do something competely random, like create 5 pies and bake them until 1 am in the morning. At least when I wake up, my home smells delicious =D

I watch TV.

But only if I'm having a horrible nightmare.
