Hello,

Are you an artist interested in working on something unusual? I am a budding graphic novel writer who is currently trying to start a comics project which adapts stories from Sanskrit texts into a contemporary or sci-fi/fantasy setting. This is different from the Virgin Comics project in that I have a Sanskrit degree and can translate the texts from the original, thereby retaining some of artistic feel.

I am looking for an artist who is trying to expand his/her portfolio and who could be a co-creator. Sanskrit literature is extremely varied and we could try all sorts of stories, humorous, serious, long, short, etc. I have had some training in writing scripts and could send you an example.

If you're going to attract any attention, you'll need to give more info than that.

Yeah, there's a balance between being mysterious to attract attention, and giving enough information for people to determine whether they're genuinely interested, if they have the skills you need, etc.

Basically your attempt just looks lazy and poorly considered, which isn't likely to attract anyone.

Yup, just a reply with more info will work, or you can edit your original post (there is an "edit" link in the upper-right corner of your post).

I wasn't trying to sound harsh, so I'm sorry if I did. Just that without ANY info it's hard for people to feel interested.
