Hello everyone!
I wanted to take a few moments to introduce myself to the community.
I'm 32, an Art Director for an advertising company (I guess you can call it that).
I've been many things: illustrator, graphic designer, unemployed, web designer, improv comedian, actor, writer, podcast host turned live internet radio host and international pimp superspy. That last one took a lot of work, so I paired it down to art director and internet radio host which takes up nearly every spare moment of my life when I'm not inhaling starbucks double shots and mike & ikes.
I've developed a time-device that allows me to see my wife AND create a webcomic…so here I am!
I tried to use the name that I commonly go by: Dr. Sexy, but it was a terms of use violation or something….so I had to settle for the name for my stuffed bear and subject of my webcomic, Mumblepuss.
I think you are cool if you like:
Moon Knight, Batman the Animated Series (all 4 seasons), The Batman (the one that just got canceled), The Joker, Harley Quinn, The Boys, Invincible, Hero by Night and Killing Pickman.
You people can message me, if you want.
I think you are lame if you like:
Dresden Files tv show over the books, Kindred: the Embraced, the Lipstick Jungle, Your Momma Don't Dance, Uwe Boll, Penance and the Captain Marvel Relaunch from Marvel (Not the Captain Marvel relaunch from DC).
You people and I can just agree to disagree, and warily eye each other from across the room.
If you made it this far, check out the N3rdcast, the internet radio show, which I am one of three hosts for. It's for mature ears only, so no downloadie-kiddies. It's for us adult types who curse too much.

Thanks for reading, and I look forward to checking some of your guys' stuff out (and girls too!).

Mumblepuss mildly tolerates you.
Welcome! I mildly tolerate you too! Isn't that grand? We have so much fun here it's hard to know what to tell you first. I guess I might as well begin with: Don't step on the carpet. Ever. It's currently being used to cover a large hole in the floor created by our resident Evil Genius, Renga Studio.
Also, bring hand soap. Lots and lots of hand soap.
Hello, mumblepuss! It is I, Renga Studio! Welcome to DrunkDuck! :) How are you? Contrary to what Steely says, I am not an evil genius and I didn't create that pitfa–I mean, that hole in the floor; I'm just a plain old, average DD user trying to get by as a cartoonist like most everyone else around here. On a completely unrelated note:
I harassed a surly alligator wearing earmuffs and trousers, hungrily eating ravioli, marshmallows, and cauliflowers. Happily, I'm not eaten!
I'm incoherent! Or am I? Anyway, have here fun on DrunkDuck!
By the way, I may not be an evil genius, but I am an ambiguously-immoral genius! MWAH-HA-HA-HA–hey! Wait a minute! Did you say you were an international pimp superspy? Weren't you that groovy interloper my minions failed to liquidate back in the late 1970's? Yeah, I remember you now! You burnt my awesome possome afro! Ooh, I never liked you!
I like all Bruce Timm Batman and DC animation, but not so much The Batman, (the one that just got cancelled.)
Am I still cool in your book?
And If you're an improv comedian, tell us a joke.
If it's funny, then you can be cool in my book.
By the way, Wassup?
Welcome to the Duck
~Brad
Based on your list, you think I'm cool, thanks! Since you don't like the Captain Marvel relaunch, you must have loved Jim Starlin's run on the original Captain Marvel. Have you been reading Annihilation: Conquest with Phylla Mar-Vell as the new Quasar. Pretty good stuff. Anywho, welcome aboard.
Oh yeah, and I love the Spidey comment.

Well, Bradleyo, to respond to your question regarding "The Batman" did you stop watching after the first season, or did you give it a try past the first couple of episodes? I didn't like the first season at all, but I gave it a chance and I thought "reinventing" some of the characters was pretty tongue-in-cheek and amusing. I hated the Joker at first, but their interpretation grew on me (same with Penquin, and Mr. Freeze). I immediately loved the revamp of Riddler and Scarface, but hated Bane & Clayface's remakes. So it's a mixed bag, but one I thought was clever and interesting enough to check out their seasons in DvD.
Additionally, I'm an improve comedian…and that doesn't always mean I do jokes it's mostly situational and/or being clever within a short amount of time…think Whose Line Is It Anyway? but with more swears. Besides, I can't be funny or clever on demand online. I need cash or beer as a motivator, I'm a "professional". :)
Welcome!
I…I don't really know any of the things on your list other than just knowing they exist. So…would that mean I'd email you or eye you warily from across the room? Or both? Can you eye warily via email?
Well, knowing they exist is a start. If you don't hate them then you automatically aren't not cool. In order to be truely cool, you'll have to want to check them out sometime. But as for eying warily, I think you can do that but it costs $2.99 a minute and most of that involves supporting the Russian Mafia and the girls they imprision giving "sexy webcam time". So we can skip that for now (but we don't have to, if that's your sort of thing).
WOW! You're the first one who mildly tolerate me.
Somehow I sincerely doubt that. :)

Please to meet you. I am always into talking with people who like the same stuff I do! Unfortunately, I wasn't old enough for Starlin's original Captain Marvel run, but I did read it in later years. I just find the whole concept lame. Poor execution, tacked onto the end of Civil War….was just…so….lame. Captain Mar-vel isn't relevant to today's readers, in my opinion. They need to make him a bit more marketable and change the person behind the mask or something. I've never been one for the big space epics in comics so I passed on Annihilation. I drop way to much money on comics, and Marvel in particular, so I try to limit and spend my comic money wisely on more independent comics that interest me more.
Well thanks for saying hi everyone, that I didn't quote and ramble incoherently to.
BTW, I watched Live Free, Die Hard last night, it wasn't as horrible as I thought it was going to be. It was actually enjoyable. It surprised me. It could be the medicine I'm on too, who knows?
