I vote for whatever Scarf just did.

Or maybe I'll put a blindfold on and vote randomly, like usual.

Hey, so, whatever on the first post. One day when I was in junior High (7th grade) I was standing at my bus stop (I was the only one that used that stop) and, on a sunny day it started to rain. There was one little damn cloud in the sky and I SWEAR it was raining on me.. very comics with my own personal cloud.. HAHA… ha.. sniff…

and what Ghost said.

I know.. right? And strangely, the day was okay after that but I was worried that it would suck. I guess after my dark cloud it could only get better.

ya, unless it followed you into class and it started to hail;) Now that would freak me out!

It hailed on me plenty in class: the geography teacher had a problem with his dentures.

E WWW… time for another story. In High School I transferred to a new school in the middle of the 9th grade. The first day in my Algebra class I realized that no one was sitting in the first couple of rows. Trying to make a good impression I sat in the middle first row… turns out that the teacher had an issue with spitting during class.. a lot. I did learn that my Algebra book could be an effective shield. I did become friends with that teacher which worked out well for me later as he became the Vice Principal.. nother story.

AG… doing my part to make this thread somewhat interesting.

You just know this thread will be awarded Most Outstandingly Interesting Thread That Started From Humble Beginnings Of The Year award at the annual DD awards.

I suppose our version of Vice Principal would be Deputy Head. I lost points with the deputy head for publishing an underground pamphlet called the Reeky Matador, in which we accused the deputy head of telling the Secretary of State for Eductaion to "sod off". He didn't like that.

Happy days.

I got in a lot of trouble in middle school when a few copies of my first comic ever monkey boy and alien (hand drawn and photocopied in the library) got left around the school and all the teachers realized that some of the characters in it were based on them. I had inhouse detention for a month…

HA… you had guts man (before the unfortunate ghosting).

Posted at

Yeah, I miss those guts sometimes.

That's tragic 'Shroom: they should've been rewarding your satirical ingenuity and creative drive, not trying to crush you down into the mire of unquestioning mediocrity. Come the glorious revolution, it's men like you who'll be held up as shining beacons of the new democracy, before being lined up with the rest of this thread in front of a firing squad one cold November morning at 6am.

Any last words?

Welcome, AnnB! Good luck in your Zuda competition ^.^ I haven't been following it recently. Shame on me.

Um, we're trading Jr. High stories, are we? Unfortunately, I was a pretty boring kid. I spent a lot of time playing tetherball and pretending to be an ice-skating dinosaur. Ahhh, life was simpler then.
