Also in considerable pain is Arturos, the latest character to join the cast of Shades.
Apparently he needs a sword to alleviate his suffering so, if you've got one, please do go and give him a hand. Of course, if you haven't got one, you can still go and read the page anyway. Arturos is one of our favourite characters, so you're bound to want to catch him making his first appearance!
Shades: I would offer a sword, but the thing broke last week. Plus, it's made of wood.

In Used Books, our team reviews their plan and settles into silence to wait for the bad guys to appear. On this page, I have again tweaked my technique for nighttime coloring and shading, and I'm pretty proud of the writing too, so check it out.
Whoa- excitement abounds in Used Books! Sniping! I always end up having to read backwards when i check up on this comic; there's always something interesting going on. I love the reflection in the binoculars in that last panel, too.

Over at The Hub:
If ya haven't chwecked up in a while, the 3rd chapter and first real story arc's kicked into gear. Stuff happens! I swear! This update? More, uh… well, drinkin'. But stuff happens eventually! I swear! And we're learnin' a bit more about how the world of the Hub is put together… with rather depressin' results fer our hero.
The Hub is fantastic, as always. Although what we find out about Vic today is a bit depressing, what's not depressing is how good the page looks, and how well Hyena pulled it off. Great stuff! :)

Salt the Holly updated today. You should check it out because this flashback page touches directly on events happening in a previous page. I've linked the previous page in the author's notes, and I think it's worth seeing the improvement XD I'm very proud! *preens a bit*
Excellent writing in Salt today as Jess and amanda bring the story around to near the beginning – but from a different character's POV. And yes, the art really does show improvement. I like the new approach to teamwork Jess and amanda have adopted in divying up their art duties. It makes for a more consistent comic. Great job, ladies!

While in StH, a flashback is ending, in Used Books, one is beginning. As the chapter title suggests, this episode will explain the origins of a piece of jewelry that Kaida has been wearing from page 1.
Geez, usedbooks… Long comic is looooong. A plot summary will be very useful for new readers and sporadic ones like me. It shows that you care about your readers, and it is awesome. Oh, Kaida was almost as kind as my City s police. They talk through their knight sticks… LOL.
Oh, since I was talking about calm and gentle people, I will tell you guys that White Versus Gray has updated. This time we see how sweet the captain can be to make people do what she says.
Gotta go sleep, it is 4 am here…
