Hooray! Bulletproof is back!

Okay, technically it came back last week but I missed it. If you don't remember Bulletproof from before it took a short break, go check it out now. Excellent B&W artwork with some very human characters doing the best they can with their very superhuman powers. If you do remember it, well, you don't really need me to tell you, do you?!

*****************

Meanwhile in Shades we reach the end of Chapter 13, and - not a moment too soon - Arturos is finally reunited with his sword.

So why is it that Boudicca seems to think that's not entirely a good thing …?!

That's the most disturbing shower scene since Psycho. o.0 Yes, make sure you check out that page, guys. There's nudity! And, um, boobs!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Gelotology updated with its 50th strip today. It tells the (true) story of a vicious scientific PR battle with a shocking conclusion!
@ Blood Reign - I always love Tim Tyler's inks! Amazing stuff! And that guy does look sweaty, doesn't he? I suppose if something went BOOM! nearby and I was trying to cover it up or deny plausibility, I'd try and close down shop early, too! lol!
Mighty Dreadful Multi-Colored Shapeshifting Warriors debuts today! I actually had the original idea for this Power Rangers parody in 1996 but it's finally come due for a re-imagining. You may also find a familiar face (or two) from the Drunk Duck community in this comic – as regular cast!
I decided to do the writing and art chores on this one, which is why it's in black and white pencils (oh, the irony-!).
Hey, GREAT! A superhero webcomic I didn't know about. HOW UNFORTUNATE had excellent art and I immediately began going through the archives…
In the CROSSOVERLORD, at http://www.drunkduck.com/Crossoverlord/index.php?p=609454 Mindmistress, who almost turned down this mission, finds she really has a personal reason to go after the Smiling Man in one of our creepiest segments EVER.—Al
The Crossoverlord: Very nice job with this page. I could almost feel the character's emotions. The close-ups you did worked amazingly. Really got that whole, creepish feeling going on. Keep up the good work!
Today in Ryu's Krew, we learn a bit more about the whereabouts of the Witch, and Mission 1 officially starts.
I'll do double duty!
@MDMCSW:
Nice drawing work! I like the expression in the last panel. Looks like a good start to the story. :)
@Ryu's Krew:
I like the tiny bits of red you threw in there! And: "Und34d". lol!
Meanwhile, over at the Hub:
A shocking twist! Or maybe not. Ya never know with those "unreliable narrator" type of characters.
Hah! I'm from WV. Lovely state – most of it. There are some, um, characters there. Apparently some of them get dropped off at The Hub. (I wouldn't be surprised if some of them came *from* it. Heh.) So, I enjoyed this apparent twist. Btw, he does talk like a guy straight from the "holler." Not much for current events.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Still in a flashback in Used Books. We join Kaida on a hit. Her assignment is her young ex-husband. Could this mission be too close for comfort?

I think the coloring got more dynamic in Crossing Death since the last time I checked the comic. Looking very nice and sharp, with some bright and expressive coloring!

Temple: this comic is so different from Asshole that I can't believe they're made by the same guy.

———-

Today on Negligence: Drannik and his half-brother are going to finally meet (yes, I love keeping my audience in suspense).

@ Negligence - Very cute! He thought he heard…him! *cue melodramatic music* Now I've gotta check back next time! This comic's style is starting to really warm me to it – good job!

Mighty Dreadful Multi-Colored Shapeshifting Warriors updated today! And no, it's not an attack of the bunnies – but don't tell Warrior Red that…

Actually, the Dreadquarters is on full alert, because one of their own is *cue dramatic music* coming home! (Follow up to the dramatic debut page yesterday. C'mon, you know you wanna go check it out – it's fun!)

Not only that, I even parodied Cute Overload in the first panel… o_0

I'm hoping that's not Kendra, the chick from "The Girls Next Door." (all this talk of bunnies..!) I love the Cute Overlords calendar, too. Very… cute!

The Optimist updates today!! Everything is goin' cray-zay!

@$$hole!: What more can I say, the composition on this photo comic is spot on (so's the humour)!

The Chronicles of Wyrden updates today and well, the Taker makes a point.

Even a dog lover would have to be at least a little scared of a creature like that. Heck, even a little coyote intimidates me, and they usually leave your soul alone.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In Used Books, Kaida decides to confront her "target," who is still blissfully unaware of the purpose for their rendezvous. Also, see an amazing fanart from n_y_japlander.
Good work in Let's Go. I'm digging the background work on the last panel (as I said in the comment I left). Very unique style. I'm going to have to go back and read what happened so far, but just keep up the good work! :)
Ryu's Krew updates with Ryu being suspicious, and Draycho being awesome. SEE WHAT WONDERS AND MYSTERY AWAITS YOU IN, RYU'S KREW!!!
Ryu's Krew: No zombies? There are always zombies.
——-
Negligence updates on this Ground Zero Day with the big reveal of Drannik's half-brother. And no, that's not Goku hair (though I know it looks a lot like it from that angle).
