Monkeyshine: I love the colour work on this, the humour is great as well.

The Doc and Reva turn out another visually stunning page and a surprisingly humanitarian concern of Rafe's over at The Chronicles of Wyrden.

Salt updated today with a page (particularly the final panel) that I'm VERY happy with - whee!

@ Salt - This is a great page! Solid colors, art and excellent expressions.

Off Hours updated today, focusing on a new group of actors on the alien world…and the evil Destiny Logan shows up, too! Script by me (Allen of Due East) and art by Pitface from Putrid Meat.

Hooray for stuff blowing up.

Living With Insanity updates today with our friend locked out.

Dude, getting locked out really does make you get a little existential… or it does for me, anyway.

Far Out There's been doing special Christmas pages all week, but today introduces something that will no doubt be a holiday MUST HAVE in the future: THE CHRISTMAS LAVA LAMP!

(also, I had to this page over, like, three times before it was ready to load, so I want SOMEBODY to see it)

@DMH
I feel the fourth wall bending a bit… Don't we all feel that way from time to time?

@Blitzkrieg1701
Oooo Pretty. You know, I got one of those for Christmas once – but it was broken. When I picked up the present, it was cold, wet and mushy. The giver said "Uh, that's not good. Don't open it."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Backup has arrived in Used Books, and not a moment too soon. It's worth a look if you, like me, suffer from difficulty drawing motorized vehicles – or if you're good at it but like to see the slow progress of those who aren't.
At first I visited Gelotology and thought, "Hey, this isn't new!"
Then I visited Used Books for the first time, and found the update!
As my first impression, I really likes the use of texture in your art. Some items are coloured in with an old school paper and pencil crayon look while other things are coloured in with smoother, shiny, almost metallic look. The choice of the shinier gradient for hair, shirts, and metal objects (like the motorcycle) are great ideas while using the rougher hand drawn coloured in effect for jeans and such. It was neat, adds a layer of complexity to your art!
That's Comical
Another post on my ' Posting Every Two Days for the Holidays' event! Hope you enjoy the comics, they'll keep coming every second day for a while so check back often!
Cheers
@ That's Comical - That's just sad (and wrong) on so many levels…but at least the cancer is operable. Can't say I go for spy-on-girls-in-shower humor but the idea was conveyed successfully, for what it's worth.
Off Hours updated today with it's 100th page, and it's a good one! (Please say more than "congrats on your 100th page." I mean it…say something meaningful/constructive, please) Two new people join the actors on the alien world – with a twist!
Script by me, Allen from Due East. Art by Amelius from Charby the Vampirate.
I'm not sure what going on since I didn't start at the beginning, but it certainly does look interesting. Also, it's drawn well too, so 10 extra points. :D
WiffleWorld: Makes perfect sense to me.
Ooh, I haven't checked out Wiffle World before - cute art style with surprisingly uncute content XD I like the bright colors, and I appreciate that, despite the art's simplicity, you still give the characters a world/background to live in. Overall, a very good first impression for me ^.~
But Not Really updated today - it stars four (count 'em: FOUR!) of your fellow DrunkDuckers! (The one not listed in the credits is regular cast member BetaJess.)
On Negligence, I think something that happened in the past between these 2 characters so that this moment felt awkward. I'll be reading to check what happened before.
On Billy Learns To Rock, if you love seeing bloody pages, this won't disappoint!
@Negligence
It's pretty good how you were able to convey the feeling of awkwardness with such minimal movement. I mean, if I'm not mistaken, only his hand changes position in all three panels and yet I can feel the tension between the two of them…
Maybe it's because I kinda know what happened between these two though :D
@Billy Learns To Rock
My first time reading this strip. Kinda creepy look on (I assume) Billy. Interesting stuff.
I'm posting an old comic I made that was selected based on it's festive qualities. Happy Holidays everyone!
Only a few more days to go now!
THAT'S COMICAL—you'll get buried in lumps of coal for that cartoon, but _I_ liked it…
And in the Christmas spirit of giving, CROSSOVERLORD gives you an awesome superpowered catfight as the Green Avenger and Dasien mix it up, with Ultra of POINT GUARDIAN nearly collateral (sp?) damage! That's at http://www.drunkduck.com/Crossoverlord/index.php?p=647869
Chronicles of Wyrden: I'm gonna have to get reacquainted with the story, as I've only been reading between updates lately. Nice art, as always, though I am wondering if the wraith is going to appear again soon.
Negligence updates with one very awkward reunion.
And, in case you missed it, I have posted side-by-side comparisons of all the remade Negligence comics right at these here links.
Hey, at least I GOT the joke this time in Negligence. Simple but funny.
In the CROSSOVERLORD, RedDeath of BAD GUY HIGH contributed a beautiful fight scene in the ongoing Dasien/Green Avenger supercatfight! That's at http://www.drunkduck.com/Crossoverlord/index.php?p=648310
Oooh, if you enjoy seeing two super-powered girls exchanging blows and insults in a very brutal and unladylike fashion (and who doesn't?!), then today's instalment of CrossoverLord is not to be missed. So go read. Now.
***********************
Alternatively, if you prefer your girly heroes to leap about in a lithe and athletic manner, then that's just what we have for you in Shades this week. Although we do have some brutality too. Provided courtesy of her very well-mannered partner!
Wow my first time reading Shades. The art is extremely well done, and the depiction of motion is equally as impressive. You managed to display a complex fight scene in only a few panels and it worked out great!
Keep it up!
That's Comical
The holiday blitz is upon us! Here is my second post in as many day's. This is a really old comic I wanted to post because it contains my favorite kids toy. If anyone mails me a gift wrapped package of Lego, I will be eternally in your debt!
Happy Holidays!
@ QUEST - Another WoW webcomic… Well, this one seems to have story. The arrangements of the characters and backgrounds are from pretty good perspectives and I like that it follows a character from "point A" to "point B" (not literally, of course – although that might make for a good gag!). Geez, what is that thing in the last frame?
Off Hours updated again today! Chance (Sapphira from Due East) is in quite the bind, literally! Her escape is somewhat, shall we say, inspired?
Script/story by me, Allen from Due East. Gorgeous art by Amelius from Charby the Vampirate.
Off Hours has some spectacular art and coloring this update, as well as a pretty sweet action sequence. Loving it!
Temple: Page 1 of the new prequel, Assassin, has Marielle running along the rooftops, about to take a shot at her target…who appears to be Seymour!
The sniper elf chick looks pretty bad ass.
But is she going to shoot or is she just trying to get a close up look at a totally ripped guy with his shirt off?
—————————————————————————
Kombat Kubs updates again! Woooohooo! And it turns out everyone is NOT dead after all! Though that could change quickly….
