How do you make a 'flashy' ad?

Hi there, so every now & then I put up ads for my comic Odd Days, but I've seen other ads that have different images flashing through a cycle.

How is that done? Can somebody show me/tell me or send me a link with instructions?

It's done with giffs :)

You can make them in Photoshop, and probably gimp and other programs.

This site is what I use for a lot of Giff editing and I think you can create them there too: https://ezgif.com/
