Vakanai tells me that The War of the Bands could use some poking with a pointy stick (it's going slowly) so he has devised a contest to get his participants motivated and/or jealous enough to work faster! Anyone on Drunk Duck can join - submit artwork of your own comic's cast rocking out in a band (send it in a PQ to Vakanai), and the winner will get their artwork advertised on War of the Bands for a really long time! Deadline is sometime in January, so use that winter holiday time for something constructive why don't you? DRUNK DUCK RUUUUUULES *devil fingers*

And Rival Angles turns 150 pages old this Friday! 150 pages of Sabrina, Krystin, Brooke and Sun and their experiences working/wrestling together and living together and mostly NOT in harmony. We're a little ways a way from the beginning of the second round of the tournament to crown a new Rival Angels champion so now is a good time to catch up. Its a good afternoon's read!

drdoobius's Vita di Vetro has, at 7 months, reached 150 pages! Go on mate, you've earned that cigar. ALSO, Vita di Vetro is currently up for review in the Comics Review forum so if you're a reader (new or old) I'm sure drdroobius would appreciate some critique!
Mister Kent has a mini-holiday going on! Both his comics Blood Groove and Lady Doom turned 50 on Thursday! Happy fiftyday to you!
I'm a little late with this one, but Flashlight Antics's Chaos Reigns has reached its One Year anniversary! It's also almost 350 pages old. Someone is a workaholic!
Miss Grey by Katsu has reached 125 comics! It has ghost stories and folklore!
Rogues of Clwyd-Rhan by Reinderdijkhuis has reached 500 pages on Drunk Duck! Although they are 'reruns' that's still quite an achievement, and more and new work has been done to polish the pages up! (That is, make them more shiny, not more sausagey.) Reinder tells me that there are at least 100 (in the next 500!) that have already been redone, so even if you are already familiar with the comic it is worth checking out!
Mystery Bread by Niccea and Ochitsukanai (they sound like a fancy kind of tea) turns 25 pages old today!
Stickfodder's STICKFODDER has reached 100 pages! "I honestly never thought that I would make it this far. I am also in my ongoing first story arc which will hit the 25 page mark on Tuesday."
