Charity art auction and lots, lots of milestones!

skoolmunkee at July 16, 2009, 3:30 a.m.

I've been told that the LGBT Webcomic Charity Auction starts up on July 20th, which is a fundraiser for a good cause (and involves webcomics, so us comic nerds can really get behind it if the LGBT wasn't enough). You want kids to get scholarships, don't you? It features a number of original art pieces from webcomic creators, one of them our very own SkyAngel from Simply Sarah! So- you have the weekend to check out what's up for auction before bidding begins!

Okay! There's a lot of milestones today so let's get right to it shall we?

Did you know that Izzy Wanders Around and Does Stuff (by Hippie Van) turns 25 pages old tomorrow? Well now you do!

WWE the Comic by Walrus will turn 225… today!

Pieguy 259 says, "Hot off the heels of our 200th comic, Stickman and Cube turns two years old on July 15th!"

@$$hole! turns 200 on Wednesday, July 15, with a brand new photo-story arc about blind dating.

Having been recently dumped from his girlfriend (in the comic world, in real life it was over a year ago), Trevor looks to his expert friend Scott for advice on how to meet women. Be sure to check out this awesome comic, nominated in the 2008 Drunk Duck Awards for Best Experimental and Best Photo Comic!

Also on the 15th, HiNaTa_fan_13 and LadyBlue's The Five Sides of the Pentacle hit 50 pages!

The KAMics by KAM reaches an astonishing one thousand pages on Friday! Top that!

darrell's Divine Leap, as of yesterday, reached 300 pages! Well done!

Xolta by arteestx has reached 300 pages… "and wraps up the origin story this week. After Genesis and Exodus, what's next in store for Xolta? Wait and see!" Clearly the answer is Xolta: Leviticus… I'm guessing lots of 'Love thy neighbor'…?

And tomorrow…. another interview!
