I really need to try harder to think up interesting subject lines for the news

Happy 27th of June! It's almost time for that one day a year when you're allowed to set off fireworks in America! Do you know where YOUR barbecue is?

I'm afraid there are still things wrong with the site- we're reporting things to the programmer as they're reported to us, but we don't know when they will be fixed. There seem to be a number of things happening at once which is probably making things difficult for them- the image server keeps filling up (somewhat mysteriously, apparently- surely not THAT many people can be uploading 2mb images?), a bunch of bugs linked to the page uploading changes (Pewfell may be the only comic benefiting from it), and now we are getting reports about some malicious ads. I think that's enough to keep the people at wowio busy, don't you? Anyway, there is a thread here where we are trying to keep most of the reporting, just to be organized. Huge thanks to ozoneocean, who seems to have a better handle on this sort of thing than me, and has been doing a lot of the responding and reporting.

I know it's frustrating and I know it's driven a few people away (temporarily, they say)- but DD has always had some pains when it came to changes/updates and we've always come through okay! I know you didn't sign up for a buggy service- it's not much fun for either of us. :]

Qucikly now!

Aelwyn's Amya has reached 50 pages! That's all she gave me to say. So how's the weather? What about that sports team?

Brick by Randal (a longtime DDer) has surpassed 75 pages! (Er, it's in the 80's actually.) As a bonus newsbit, Brick's schedule has changed from 7 days a week to Mon-Fri. Surely Randal deserves a few days off!

That's it, that's all I got. Leave me alone! Didn't I see you here asking for news LAST week?
