MONDAY FEATURE -> Arachnid Goddess

Arachnid Goddess is a long-running comic here on DD, and is a disturbing gem of writing. Think of it as an illustrated tale rather than a comic (it's very text heavy)- the art isn't amazing but it does the job and can sometimes be very evocative. What is so enjoyable here is the story. Ahab is a young woman who dwells with other outcasts and homeless in the subways and tunnels under the city. The place she feels most at home is a terrible cave network, part of a dark world which claims the lives of others but transforms her into her true self, a spiderous monster and beyond. It's a long, dark, twisted story so rated M!
