In the community spotlight this week RPGgrenade. RPGgrenade has shared so much of his experience and knowledge with the DD community in the forums and through numerous clever and funny scripts provided to the Quackcast. He’s an enthusiastic contributor with many creative and intelligent things to share about writing comics, from story ideas, theme, world creation, to humour and many more! He’s more than happy to participate and share ideas, which is why he’s getting the community spotlight!
Drunk Duck Awards 2011 finalists have been announced! Is your comic one of the upper echelons of nominated amazingness on DD? You should find out! You could also contratulate your fellow creators and start putting bets on the winners!*

And now for :siren: 24 HOUR COMICS!!! :siren:
Last year, Product Placement set up and managed the DD24 Hour community collective, which was a place for all the comics people had worked on for 24-Hour Comics day! There's over 200 pages of comics there, created by YOU GUYS! Those stories are awesome, but I think you guys can do even better this year!
If you don't know what 24-Hour Comics is…. basically, you try to do a complete comic in 24 hours! The idea is to just KEEP WORKING, not try to make everything perfect- just crank out a story. Many people can't 'do' 24 hours so break it up into more managable (but still large, dedicated) chunks- 3 days of 8 hours, or something. And it is happening SATURDAY!!!
Anyway, Product Placement is back this year and willing to manage the DD 24Hour 2011 collection. So DO A STORY (even if it's not for the whole day or you don't quite finish) and then get ready to send it to him, where it will be uploaded and showcased along with the brilliant work of other comic-loving DDers!
