VegaX is this week’s community spotlight. He’s been here with us at DD forever, but over the last few years he’s really come out and been more and more helpful in the community. He’s done a marvelous job managing the comic review section - http://www.drunkduck.com/forum/9890/ - for the longest time, which can be a very difficult and complicated task, but even so, through thick and thin he’s kept it going (though taking a break now while the forum isn’t so smooth). He’s also always been more than willing to step in and help with other moderation tasks and do things like contribute to the Quackcast!

Name the newest member of the Vanguard!
As you may or may not know, Luke, the newest member of the Vanguard has yet to be given a ‘code name’, so get your thinking caps on, because I’m offering a prize for the person who comes up with the best one!
Character sheet can be found HERE
Simply PQ your suggestion to me by September 30th for the chance to win a commissioned piece of artwork of a character of your choice (yours or someone else’s) AND to appear in the Vanguard comic as yourself at the naming/reveal ceremony!
Great, eh?
I look forward to hearing your suggestions!

PS. If you want to appear in the comic, you’ll have to send me a photo(s) of yourself for reference.

Doctor Shadow and Reva Flynn's featured and fan-favorite comic The Chronicles of Wyrden has reached 375 pages! They've steadily updated for years and now look at that nice impressive number! (and they say there's still a bunch more to go, yay!)
Another featured comic, Arachnid Goddess by Chernobog, has reached an amazing 450 pages! If you haven't checked out his story yet you should- it's a bit of an investment, but a worthwhile one!
