FRIDAY NEWSPOST - Meet your new newspost overlord(overlady?)

Hi all!

Those of you who frequent the forums are probably familiar with me, but for those of you who aren’t, here is a quick introduction!

I joined Drunk Duck some 5 years ago to post a webcomic I was working on with a friend of mine, a short-lived nightmare of a thing called “Hippie Van” – hence my name. I stuck around because of all the great webcomics I found here, as well as the lovely people in the forums. Sometime later I started up Izzy Wanders. I’m still pretty fond of Izzy, despite not having updated him in two years.

I live in Canada – not in the North, but yes, it gets pretty cold here all the same. I’m currently working on an Honours History degree, with a particular interest in Eastern Europe. When I’m not reading comics or studying, I’m usually re-watching The Twilight Zone, Star Trek, or old Jimmy Stewart films. I also have way too many animals for my little house – two rabbits, three cats, and a dog.


I will be doing news posts every Friday from now on. This means that if you guys have comic milestones, community projects, or any other duck/comic-related news you should send it to me at hippievannews@gmail.com. You can also send me a PQ, but keep in mind that notifications aren't working right now.

I feel as though I should incorporate some kind of pun into the title of these newsposts. Leave suggestions for me below!
