Used Books Celebrates 7 Years on Drunk Duck, Project GTH Reaches 675 Pages!

The ever-evolving, always mysterious, and very inspiring Used Books webcomic turned seven years old yesterday. The early days of the comic were largely influenced by mystery stories including Sherlock Holmes, Agatha Christie novels, Lupin III, Detective Conan (also known as Case Closed) and Vickie's (the creator) closest friends. What started as a passion project quickly turned into a pinnacle on DrunkDuck. In the first couple of years, the updating schedule would update daily without ever missing a beat.

It is very apparent from reading through the story that all that hardwork paid off. The pages gradually moved from black and white to digital coloring. The character designs became more refined while maintaining its own unique style. Also the addition of backgrounds helped to round out the pages and create a whole new world. The latest pages of Used Books are stellar.

Vickie's dedication to Used Books is a prime example of how repeated practice and regular updating can help improve the quality of art output. So, celebrate by swinging by Used Books, and read through the immense archive.
