It's a Bird. It's a Plane! No, wait, is it The Rat?!

In the same vein as other comic heroes that name themselves after creatures, the Rat is a bit unique.

Danny is a high school student from North Side Chicago's Irving Park neighborhood and living with first world problems. He has his heart set on a girl he can't have and a low attention span that gets him in trouble. He spends his days daydreaming in class and gets reprimanded by his teacher when caught.

At school, Danny gets lectured by his teacher. At home, Danny gets gets lectured by his sister. Everyone is telling him what to do, how to live his life, and how to grow up, but he wants NONE of it! All he wants to do is dive into his life of computer/video games. This town is about to need some reinforcements after a freak rainstorm, a planned building demolition, and a basement filled with experimental rats and weapons are all about to collide.

The Rat features fully colored pages with digital ink. It uses some really cool camera angles for up close shots and had very nicely drawn perspective backgrounds.

The main character, Danny, is an Everyman. He is someone many teenagers in high school can relate to which will make this story a very enjoyable read for someone in that demographic.
