Just Breathe

Take a deep breath. Count to ten. Exhale.

This time of the year can be the most joyous while being the most stressful. There are less hours of work and more places to spend money. It is a time for reuniting with old relatives, eating great food, and attending festive parties. In other words, it is so easy to get caught up in the holiday season celebrations that we lose track of prioritizing our own well-being.

I am not going to lie, this holiday has been exceptionally busy with invitations to new events and last minute requests that time seems to be stretched like a piece of taffy. However, I feel very fortunate to have a plate full of options because I have experienced the opposite and being busy is not a bad thing.

The most important thing is to breathe and remember to smile because it makes everything else easier.
