Days Unlike Any Other

kawaiidaigakusei at Feb. 15, 2021, midnight

Interesting.

It is quite amusing how Valentine's Day 2021 landed on a Sunday, a day without a new blog entry. Friday was the celebration of the Lunar New Year–the Year of the Ox.

In previous years, both occasions would have drawn massive crowds of people. There would have been street festivals and fireworks in major cities. Classroom floors would have been covered with left over scrap pieces of pink, red, and white construction paper (used to make a small box to hold Valentine's Day cards) and cellophane candy wrappers.

The two days.

Two days unlike any other.

Only these days can feel repetitive. An observer could have looked outside the window on both days, and would not have noticed a difference between Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

Happy (Belated) Valentine's Day 2021, Ducks!

Love is the answer,

kd
