Friday Fashion Spotlight 14: Tonya and Adam

Welcome to…
The DD Fashion Spotlight!
Number 14.
Tonya Mills and Adam Winthrope are federal bounty-hunters from MrGranger's The Devilfish Project.
They both sport a range of tactical gear consisting of body armour, weapons, webbing, and pads. They're dressed for hardcore close range fighting.
It's a pretty cool "tacti-cool" look and it's really enhanced by the black and white look of the artwork. It's also interesting that we have both male and female versions of almost the exact outfit.
Tonya Mills
Tonya's gear is minimal and lightweight, designed for fast movement and to obstruct her as little as possible while still protecting her vital areas and giving her the capacity to carry enough easily accessible weapons and ammunition for her mission. She wears long padded gloves and boots and chest armour with minimal covering on all other areas.
You might note the "boob" armour. There's a modern misconception that this is just a thing invented by horny illustrators but it has a solid basis in reality: Most ballistic armour is made for men and can be extremely dangerous when worn by women because a poor fit can mean death. At the very least it can be very uncomfortable and hot because it has no allowance for the female bust; well endowed women are penalised. So boob armour has a justification.
My favourite feature of her gear are the crossed holsters at her hips, the big utility belt, and the stomach lobster plates. The goggles are pretty awesome too. The "rule of cool" does apply to the gear though because if she was properly equipped she'd be wearing a helmet and possibly shoulder armour!
Adam Winthrope
Adam wears much the same gear as Tonya, just the male variant with flat pectorals. The main difference is his stylish jacket as opposed to Tonya's tanktop. It flares at the back with a little bit of extra fabric that allows for a frock-coat like effect. That and the wide turn back cuffs give it a piratical look and makes a great contrast with the rigidity and modernity of his tactical gear.

These two make quite a dynamic pair. I like that they're both wearing two different variations of the same gear. What's your preference for a tactical look?
