Ah no, no correlation between the ship and the attempt at a Gorn. I'm deliberately avoiding showing the people of that ship, well I have shown one, sort of.

preproduction especially on these 3D comics is massive - I've looked into it enough to learn that much!!

It really depends on what you're doing. If you're doing something with limited characters and sets it's not so bad. There's a lot of ready made stuff out there which can speed things up, if you can find it or afford to pay for it. Paradigm shuffle didn't take a huge amount of pre-production as it uses a lot of assets I already had. There really isn't a huge amount of custom stuff in there. The thing is I've had years to build up a library of assets. This project, I'm making some things, customising other and some bits I've found ready made.
