Wow, awful anatomy! I wasn't drawing THIS terribly at this point in my life, for some reason I let this slip. I'll let you in on the how and why though: I was using a pen, and only a pen, and only one page of computer paper per update. And if I made a mistake, I just tried to fix it on the computer: with a MOUSE. I also cranked up the tolerance on the paint bucket because these were scanned in at 300 dpi (I scan at 600 these days)and still grayscale, but because the lineart was not converted to stark crisp black, filling in shapes meant getting white halos inside the art. But because the tolerance was so high, it pretty much absorbed the lineart (for example, the dude's hat and hair in the 5th panel) I've since learned to lower the tolerance, convert the line thresholds to solid black to prevent pixel leakage/halos, and to stop using the darn smudge tool for everything! And when I make mistakes these days, I draw it over again!
