'Cuz I know youse missed him ^_^

Didya know I based his character design almost solely on a song I liked? "Who will save the sane" by Type O Negative, because it mentions a "fake tear". Of course the intent of the song isn't about a wannagoth like Hector, but that's what came to my mind when I heard it! His character anatomy itself in these early strips were a real throwback to my old style of drawing humans. To be fair and honest, I drew very few human characters in the past, so most of my "people" were bug-eyed and cartoony like Heck is here. CTV is actually the first comic I did that featured human characters and not bizarre animal-like creations or just plain animals (like Beck the Ferret)
