Charby is laying on the melodrama thick. Half of it is actually his feelings, the rest trying to get her to pity him. Evil is conniving like that. As I described last time: it's like he wants icecream, but he'll blow up the icecream truck and gut the icecream man before he takes one popsicle and leaves ^_^
