Alright, to clear this up! It's not the pills he was reffering to that made him "weak". Since we established that they don't work that fast making him "better", they wouldn't work that fast making him "weaker" either. He's reffering to the fact that they dragged him out here in the first place…
And we couldn't see them in the previous comic because they are behind the counter, and we didn't get many views of the shelf/cupboard area where Menu is.
