#791 Trumped by a Chump

Before anyone asks: Tony reverted back to his natural state more quickly because the form he took required a little more magic than his usual preferred state. Usually he'd go right back to that, then slowly fade out of it as time passes. But today he's assuming a new form he's not used to and therefore had to use a bit more glamour to pull it off.

Also, he thinks that Vic is a bit of a pushover and is pushing his luck here. He didn't bank on Vic seeming to know where he was despite being invisible…suppose he could "see" him, or only sense him? At any rate, he's letting Vic's friendship status with Charby give him a little too much trust that Vic won't snap his neck like a twig for ticking him off. Plus, Charby has really made Vic sound like a goofball…he may have mentioned scaring him into wetting his pants, but perhaps failed to mention the unholy terror he turned into that caused it!

And Blaine doesn't know alps because they are rare in Kellwood, and in fact Tony has made a similar statement to that effect when he first appeared in this comic. Alps are from Germany and not many immigrate across the pond, let alone settle into Kellwood. As for Yiska and the other alp bureau members…they aren't really from here, either!
If he did know about Tony's existence, what might he rule on that? Alps don't exactly kill anyone, and they don't turn anyone else into alps…so they are more nuisance than menace, and he very well may ignore them anyway.

Ah, I said it would be on time and cursed myself, because it didn't happen. I still haven't got an incentive, but I need sleep so I'll update that later. Sorry guys T_T
