Little miss trumpet-voice is glad her ursequinne friend has returned! I base most of the Manticore's body language on my cat Weiss, who often does that pose from the first panel.
And by the way, as some of you may not be aware there's more of this comic to be found in my Director's Cut, ReVamped! It's going to be updating every Monday, on a real honest to goodness schedule!

It's not a reboot/retcon, this is the stuff I didn't include in the archives here when I started, and now it's back in its proper place!
