They may have seen the gem, but something like a soul-gem is not that well known of a concept in these parts. Sure you *might* find someone who knows of the concept if you look around Demon Market long enough, but you probably won't find a specialist on it in the Demon Kingdom. Let's just say that crystals around here aren't exactly as receptive to souls as the ones from Jozk's original home…

The idea that a soul is in his gem is beyond their ken– but the idea that it was a fancy cork keeping it inside his flesh-body does not seem out of the question!
