Of course, Vic knows better by now than to change clothes or anything in his room due to certain past experiences. "Shame" may be a new concept to Mannick, but he's also highly empathetic. He hasn't had a personal conversation with Vic but he has absorbed some knowledge from someone who took great interest in him for a while… he a learned a lot through wearing her witch hat.

The title is, if you caught it, a reference to the movie of the same name by Hitchcock.
