Before the advent of nifty automatically generating pages for comic updates, such as we have here on DD, every time you did your update you built the HTML yourself. The first few pages were usually enough, and then you'd just reopen the files, change the numbers in the image code and the link-to code, and save with a different page number when you uploaded the next update to your FTP.

I just found it easier to do a batch of pages at a time. That and I always found it a nicer read to have one entire scene instead of one page at a time. Which, if you'll notice, is how I've been updating here. Every time I do an update, it ends with a scene break. But the generating script is actually better geared towards people who update a page at a time instead of a number of pages at a time. So you end up seeing the last page of a scene, which could be the climax of the entire scene, before you see the material before it. The nature of the script spoils scene-oriented updating (which, now that I think about it, is why I never used one of the generators on my own site).

So I suppose for DD I'll switch to a page-a-day approach.

As of last update, Sune reached 102 pages.
