I don't do windows on starships. Not usually. Windows to me equal hull breaches waiting to happen. Especially in warships. It's much easier to use video screens displaying an outside view. You can even line interior corridors with them so long hauls aboard large ships don't seem so claustrophobic.

I like mythology. But people ape mythology all the time. We're surrounded by religions, new and old. The trick is not to ape the myth, but to pay homage to the myth.
