And now we know why Jaith knows more boetheri culture than Tai…because he actually grew up in it.

This is all you're going to get of Jaith's backstory. Why? Because his story really isn't vital, you don't need it to really understand his character, I think you already know his character, unlike Tai, who's a bit of a mystery. Also, as much as I would LOVE to design his family and draw them, I felt it would get too confusing in the chapter. Right now we have present time and Tai's backstory, which are pretty easy to tell apart, but if I were to throw another backstory into the mix, it would all get too confusing. So I settled with have Jaith tell rather than show.

And no, I have no intention of having any of Jaith's family show up in the comic either. They've already played their part, they made him who he is. An appearance by them would be too obvious and would add little to the story I'm trying to tell (It could be an interesting story, but would distract from the task at hand.) So no, sorry, you won't get to meet them ^_^;
The grandfather sounds pretty cool though XD Must've learned the language from a predecessor before it was stopped.

I really wanted Jaith to be a bit more cheerful on this page, but I guess it works okay. Sorry the inking sucks, I was having trouble with my eyes when I was working on it.
