Tai-ra's still not convinced. She's done being shocked by how different Nareth is, now she's into a sort of observational mode where she's trying to figure it out, but she's still mostly thinking the way she did before. The foundation is breaking up, but it's still there.

I think a large part of the reason why Nareth was the way he was, why this weirdness was "normal" to him was probably because of his father. I tend to look at his father as being a lot like him, so he's a pretty good guy. I also think he treats his slaves fairly well (I tried to hint at that when we first met him by having him tell them to dismiss their slaves because they must be tired). So Nareth just grew up in a household where this was the norm, so to him, that was just the way things were. Tai-ra is impressed by Nareth, but I think most of the credit should go to his dad. XD

Art-wise, I have no real complaints on this page. Nothing stellar, but I will say that drawing that guy's poofy hair was fun. XD
